Canadian Tire isn't just a store for guys.nnIt's a big general store, a garage, and has lots of items for cooking, cleaning, plumbing, sports, painting, pet food, seasonal items, automotive supplies, electrical goods, and more.

Brought my vehicle in for a new starter, because there were no other options. Despite stating that I just wanted a new starter installed, they refused without charging $150 for an assessment. After that, charged another $300 for a simple install. In total, I had to spend over $500 in labour fees to install a part that’s easy to reach, and is held on by two bolts and an electrical clip.nnI took a gamble on Canadian Tire out of desperation and lost badly. Go literally anywhere else.

Went to the auto center and was treated in such a lovely way by Vince! Him and his colleagues were extremely warm and helpful and my windshield service literally lasted 30 seconds. I had gone to the plateau location in the morning and had so many issues but I was extremely happy with my interaction I hope they get some recognition!

Do not do NOT rely on the website in terms of in store stock. Nothing on their website is accurate and I just wasted a trip. Spoke to the manager who basically gave me a verbal shrug and said that it’s hard to keep up with inventory, items may have been damaged 12 items damaged? Okay then etc. I can’t imagine why Canadian Tire bothers with a website when the behaviour they encourage is having their customers call the store to confirm whether the things they are advertising for sale are actually for sale. No one wants to experience the bait and switch.nnI had other items to purchase but left them behind. You can’t reward a store for this brutal customer service.

I called the tire service that your automated system directed me to. After waiting 25 minutes, I finally reached someone—only to be told I was at the wrong department. I was then transferred to the “correct” one, waited another 5 minutes, and got hung up on.nnIs this really how important my call is to you?nThis level of service is unacceptable.
