Came here because I heard good thing about their cocktail but honestly I’ve had better at many other places in Toronto. Food was nicely presented. Above average tapas but nothing too impressive. We sat on the patio so didn’t have the chance to check the interiors. Would come back again to try other food and drinks. One star less because our server. She might be new? Not sure… interrupted me a few times when we were placing our order. Absolutely no eye contact the entire time.
A cozy tapas bar with a simple and incredible menu. We only ordered a few dishes and from what we tried I am very confident no matter what you order the food will be exquisite. The vibe is cozy and welcoming which is perfect for a date night or being out with a group of friends.
Great little place for amazing cocktails and fancy finger food and tapas/small plates. Went there for brunch/lunch. Their coffee was surprisingly good as well, lol! We tried: Tomato toast - 4/5 Coffee - 5/5 Old fashioned cocktail- 4/5 Mushroom with red sauce appetizer- 4.5/5 Eggplant+honey - 4/5
Just here to add another and well deserved 5 star I came here because of an Eater article and I'm so glad I did! I was sitting at the bar, lucky enough to have Hailey bartend for me and she made some great drinks! Loved everything about this place the energy was fantastic, the people were wonderful, and the food/drinks were great! The zucchini and black cod dish was just FANTASTIC. A great balance of flavors and a beautiful amount of black pepper on top. Hailey was a highlight, she made awesome drinks, pointed me in the right direction food wise, and went above and beyond to talk to me while still working. Can't recommend this place enough, especially on a warm day!
Fancy little place with warm lightings on college street, Toronto. tapas/small food plates was well presented and tasted good but nothing too impressive for the high price. We sat on the patio so didn’t check the interiors. The bar looked quite busy and our server was very friendly. May come back again for another experience as we had a great time with great company.
I really enjoyed Bar Raval. The drinks were 10/10The decor alone lets the imagination transfer you to a wooden hide away with a rustic vibe where one sits at wooden stools and barreled tables, is able to see the goings on with an open bar/kitchen, and the lighting is dim yet warm. It’s a smallish space with a covered outdoor area. One downside the doors open into the main space and every time someone opens the door you get a bit of the winteror whatever season you’re in air. Take a sweater just in case you get cold easily
Easily one of my favourite places for tapas. Great food and drinks, good vibes and beautiful interior. It's always super busy so definitely need to put yourself on the waitlist online before heading down so you don't have to wait so long. My favourite is the stracciatella and boquerones and the jamon croquetas!
Exceptional. The taste of every single dish brought a smile of delight to my face. Outstanding service from Dennis. One of my most memorable dining experiences in the city. 6 stars out of 5.
Loved my time there! Service wasn’t the best, but the drinks and tapas were superb. Genuinely felt like I was back in Spain and it was just amazing. Definitely a good spot to come if you miss the vibe and hustle of places like this spotted around Spain.
We are visiting from Chicago and had an all around lovely experience here! The iberico pork was incredible as were all the cocktails we got. The cocktails had great flavor and were not too sweet. All of the waitstaff were awesome, especially Elise, the bar manager, who was kind enough to write out recommendations of other places to go to while in Toronto. I also had the joy of my boyfriend becoming my fiance while there and the waitstaff were kind enough to take pictures and open to celebrate!
