Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I've eaten at this location several times, both lunch and dinner, as well as at some other locations in the area (Holland, Grand Haven, etc.). The problem I have with this chain is that I don't find their menu particularly interesting. Last visit was for lunch and I had the chicken tender lunch special. The breading on the tenders was very thick, although I can say that they were cooked properly. The problem with having the best chicken tenders ever at another famous chain is that it tends the ruin the experience to be found elsewhere. This indeed was the case here. Service was good. Checkout was via their tabletop device, which can be challenging for the senior crowd. Any labor savings were negated as the server had to operate the device for the person paying the bill. Sometimes technology does not pay.

Wait staff and manager were great. Kids food was a dollar on Tuesday. My steak was a little over cooked. My son's steak was a little under cooked. Not a huge deal to me. Tasted great. This is. The only reason I didn't mark it 5 stars

My friend and I ate in the bar and the food was delicious. The service was outstanding. April was awesome and took great care of us. The bartender makes excellent drinks.

The food was good. Ordered a to go plate with a Pepsi. I think the pepsi was made when I called because it was so watered down. Waited 4 min for service. So 3 out of 5 is fair. Generous
