My daughter attended classes at OGC for several years and obtained 1 bronze, 2 white and 1 silver ribbons showing completion of skills and levels in beginner, intermediate and advanced recreation classes. At the end of her last class she was given a bronze ribbon which she has received several years before and told that there was no record in their system that she had completed skills for white and silver ribbons. Obviously my daughter was crushed and didn’t want to do gymnastics again. Now she is taking dance classes at a school that is much more organized.
Great place, with amazing management and the staff/coaches are great with kids. Highly recommended!
This place has the worst parking considering the kind of events it has. Some of the worst drivers in the area. Don't come here with your nice car or risk getting scratched by some air head.
Ottawa gymnastics not very big but everyone there is welcoming of anyone coming to compete. Parking is limited so be prepared to go elsewhere to park.
Coaches are nice but if it's kid's first independent class you need to be sure your kid is ready. They have a monitor who will lecture you about not being with your kid if you are transitioning to independence and push to speed it up or threaten kicking from class if not fast enough.
