Antrim Truck Stop

What a cool place. Great service and very good food. My eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was very good amd plentiful. The sausages were as expected for breakfast fare. Smaller chunk of ham. The pancakes were a surprise, very thick. I am pretty sure it was the same bulk batter, like bisquik or whatever, but poured into a form so they are perfectly round amd about an inch thick. Very fun. Daughter had an order of pancakes with the strawberry topping and it was good. Not sure if it was just lemon, or rhubarb, or both, but a very savory acidic flavour in ths background was excellent. Wife had a BLT and enjoyed it thoroughly. The bakery out front looked excellent and had a long line. Loved the truck in the lobby. Very cool.

Most truck stops feel a little stale these days. Antrim Truck Stop is the exception.nnThe restaurant serves authentic, homemade-style food rather than the typical truck-stop fare. The bakery is amazing, with a huge selection of treats that makes it hard to walk by without grabbing something.nnThey also claim to have the cleanest bathrooms on the Trans-Canada Highway. Having stopped here early in the morning, late at night, and plenty of times in between, I can confirm they live up to it. They’re probably cleaner than some people’s bathrooms at home.nnThere’s a good amount of truck parking, which matters for a place that actually serves the trucking community.nnAnd having an actual truck inside the building is a pretty cool touch. It adds some character and makes the place feel like a real truck stop rather than just another highway restaurant and gas station.nnOverall, you can see why Antrim continues to thrive while so many traditional truck stops are disappearing. Good food, a great bakery, clean facilities, plenty of parking, and some personality. They’ve clearly figured out how to keep people coming back.

Good food good service and lovely ambiance.. spacious and a great place to have breakfast with family while enjoying a happy conversation, clean And lots of parking space. The lady who helped us completed our day with great experience

Best egg salad sandwich I've ever had! I stopped on my way home after a long drive. I grabbed a sandwich and some tarts and was blown away by both.
