Fantastic dinner experience! The host was very welcoming and prompt with the service! The food was good for the offerings in place! Came out quick and hot as well! The parotha was hot and fluffy and very filling! Chettinad chicken curry was the go to meal and it hit the spot! Chicken was well cooked and seasoned to perfection! Definitely a place to go if you’re looking for some South Indian flavour.
Taste was very super! And authentic and fresh. Kudos to the chef!We ordered mutton chuka biryani, egg omelette, chicken 65 and fish meals.
ANJAPPAR CHETTINAD RESTAURANT MISSISSAUGA The authentic chettinad style south Indian non vegetarian restaurant in town. Chettinad chicken and Biriyani should must try. Chinese items can skip. Falooda has missing fruits and nuts but staff said that's how it make QUALITY OF THE FOOD we ordered chettinad chicken, lollipop chicken, fried rice, noodles, mutton biriyani and falooda. Pepper mutton was yummy but pepper chicken way off as it not marinated well. Head Chef need to look this. Porotta could be better to be smashed SERVICE Not so so friendly and no smile. Customer service has areas of improvements but ok. You have to be there more than 30 mins before restaurant and we hardly get in but they accommodated after multiple requests. VALUE for MONEY reasonably priced and worth to try if you are looking authentic chettinad menu other menu item may be not worth it. AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS sitting area Maintained ok. Open kitchen showing confidence on kitchen cleaness.. LOCATION middle of mississauga but you won't see it as its facing opposite to road. If you are regular no problem but first timers hard to find. A lighted sign could be good to have manager!
I rarely rate any restaurant 5 stars, but I couldn't find any reason to reduce the rating. This took me down memory lane, it took me back to my days in Bangalore, India. The parotta is easily one of the best I've ever tried. I ended the meal with a tea which was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.
This place has my heart , my go to place for South Indian food in Toronto. The staff gives good suggestion and the menu of the day is always good, tends to get busy on weekends, but that is explainable. Photos for one of those weekend trips to Anjapar Chettinad
We ordered a ghee dosa for the kid and malabar chicken curry with malabari parotta plus the garlic fish Finished off with the mango lassi and the semiya pasayam The bill came to 76 dollars plus tip Food was great except for the pasayam which was more like sago dry fruit semiya boiled a bit in milk and served! Will i go back ? A definite yes and hence the five stars
Awesome food. And awesome staff. The music was very relaxing. The girl who served us was very nice. Chilli chicken , ghee dosa , masala dosa and I think rav dosa we tried . Everything was tasty. Also masala tea and falooda is awesome.
Hi all enthusiasts food saviours, I went to Anjappar restaurant with friends. We ordered the following : 1. Parotha 2. Mysore masala dosa 3. Kara kozhambu 4. Veg kottu paratha 5. Tea and badam milk Probably you would have understand why I gave them 1 star out of 5 I have following review in short and easy way for you to understand that food taste is really not good. Taste - 1 Ambience - 2 Quality -2 Moreover there was no body bothered about you or even your food. The parotha which was served to us was half cooked. The kara kozhambu was not even close to kara. The badam milk was not more than ordinary milk
Really amazing South Indian flavors. Can recommend everything off the menu. And don't forget to end the experience with filter coffee.
Good South Indian cuisine restaurant. We had following Non veg thali - 4/5 comes with variety of vegetable curries, rasam, single non-veg dish, rice and chapati. The food was good and was enough. Deducted 1 star as not all curries are delicious. Kara dosa - 5/5 South Indian coffee - 4/5; less quantity with respect to the price Service was good
