Located in Square One food court. Large Menu. Ok food so far. We only tried Chicken Tikka Kulcha. It came fresh hot, right out of the oven. There is plenty of butter chicken curry on the side along with some onions. The whole thing was ok. Not bad but nothing to go back for. The menu has many other options so we will go back to try chaats, puri & curries & update the review. Vegetarian options: Many veggie only dishes available. Parking: Square one parking Wheelchair accessibility: Square one mall is wheel chair accessible.
Butter chicken and Garlic naan is my favourite combo any day and Amaya did not disappoint me! Yet another Indian food outlet you can go and enjoy.. I might have to try a few other dishes to give a proper review! The chicken quantity could be more but the flavour was amazing and the naan were soft!
Located inside the Square One Mall in the food Court. It is in one corner. Quite crowded in the weekend. But makes sense as it is a good Indian restaurant. Took Chole Bahture and Aloo Tikki Chana. Photos added. Both of them were tasty especially the Aloo tikki chana. The quantity for chole bature was good as well. Couldn't complete the whole thing in one go. The provide spicy onions with the chole bature as well. Price for the 2 items was 23 dollars. Which is pretty reasonable. Many items in the menu haven't tried the rest. As the time of writing the ratings were 3.1 Not sure why since what we had was good. Might have to eat other items to comment further. Only downside is the waiting time and the way they pack the food. They give all items packed in a box. Havent seen them give food on a tray. This sometimes makes the food a bit soggy due to the moisture. Make sure to collect as soon as it is ready.
I was so excited to see an Indian food outlet in the food court but the food was really bad The pao bhaji was full of garam masala It felt like it had no pao bhaji flavor I would suggest try other outlets
We tried biriyani, butter naan and tandoor chicken from amaya located inside the square one mall Mississauga. Taste was excellent and prices are reasonable.
I ordered Amritsari kulcha with chana, the chana had hair in it. Though they refunded me but they were not at all sorry for their mistake.
I ordered chana bhatura combo the bhatura’s were full of oil, gave full oily taste in the first bite. Not expected this kind of food at Amaya.
A good place if you are looking for Indian food within square one shopping center. Have tried multiple items from here like bhel, biryani, Non veg Thali etc... Bhel was a disappointment for me, Biryani is good. In Non-veg thali they have options of 2 non veg items and 1 veg.. quantity is good enough.. currently they have take out only, but you can still sit in the common food court area and enjoy the meal there. Not my go-to option for a quick bite or meal though.
It used be an awesome restaurant. Still it’s Okish n customer service is good but needs improvements on some areas. Talked to the owner yesterday as well - improving stuffing in kulcha, bringing back crispy and not chew channa bhatoora, less oily samosa and bring back dine-in plates - would easily bring the rating to 4 plus. Some food items are good , just need to work on few things. Hope for the best.
This the worst place I've every attempted to eat at by any standards. I watched them be rude to every single customer, lick their fingers while preparing the food and even take a naan bread off the floor and put it in someone's meal. Absolutely disgusting. I tried to address it with them and rather than explain why they had such poor hygiene practices with other peoples food, they gave me back my money and asked me not to tell anyone.
