Animalerie Felix Pet Shop

I bought a traumatized baby leopard gecko from here, its cage had a month old bowl of worms, not enough hides, no humid hide, bowl of water with dead crickets in it. The fish are kept in half filled small plastic cups. The service was fine with two of the young employee's but when my sister and I got an older lady with glasses she refused to get baby crickets for a baby leopard gecko, confused I say the other employee's got us them and in a super disrespectful tone she said "These are babies" and hands me a container with crickets the size of a head of a pin. I say baby crickets as in small ones she said again with an even worse tone "they're all kept together. I can show you." repeating that with any question I asked. That was the last straw. I said forget the crickets and left my book with still crickets left on it and went to monarch reptiles. As soon as I got there I noticed how well the pets were kept, already tamed, well fed, I realized how terrible felix was. Anyway I asked for baby crickets, she asks what are you feeding. I tell her baby leopard gecko and she gets me small crickets which are kept separate from adults because shes not an idiot and knows that they cant eat the adult ones and the adult ones can actually abuse your gecko. Horrible customer service, you couldn't pay me to come back. I'm being gentle with how rude she was.

Well stocked for a small town pet shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bien équipée pour une animalerie de banlieue. Personnel courtois et connaissant.
