Anderson Point County Park

Great place to relax by the water. The walk path is well maintained. The walk down to the beach area was nice. The beach area has logs across the whole beach that make nice seats. No restrooms and the walk back is all up hill. Not disabled friendly.

0.7 mile walk on wide gravel path down to beach. Same 0.7 mile back, but now uphill, of course. Not a park in the playground sense, but think more like state or national park -- just a place to hike into nature for a while. Long stretch of sandy beach. Driftwood for benches. Many types of birds, including eagles. Just a place to relax in nature, easily accessible near home if you're a local.

Forested park with gravel road, somewhat steep, down to water. Walked part way down but it was late and was starting to get dark so returned. Others there to fish and just enjoy. It was a great weather day.

I loved this place because the kindness of the people their and the amazing view. It brought my family an a memorable experience.

Beautiful walk to the beach without a long drive. Easy walk for kids, there is an uphill walk back but easy enough even for the little ones. Beautiful views and scenic walk. We come here at least once a month if not more.
