Anchorage Community Mental Health Services

These guys filled me with wolf tickets. I was gullible to fall for this for over a six month period. But they have accepted me back after I have had multiple falling outs due to my condition. They are helpful and very patient. They are a good choice for troubled adults who experience mental illness. And also a good choice for poly substance abusers who are duel diagnosis they are very patient and understanding.

I was not impressed during my one and only call to this agency! The first person was polite, the second absolutely NOT! I would not be motivated to receive services from or partner with any agency so lacking in appropriate customer service!

I did not like the uncaring person who answered the phone, and I don't care for the run around. it was like im sorry you called but you got me. :(

If you want your life to be micromanaged to the point that you are practically living at the facility, having your medication counted and served in little packets weekly, having people talk slowly to you in syrupy voices; if you want gaping stares if you say anything above 5th grade vocabulary, and absolutely no insight into physical disabilities being problematic accessing their clinic way up a steep hill in the dead of winter than this is the Place for YOU! If you want clinicians with absolutely no insight into the fact that you have a life outside of this clinic then this is for YOU! If you want a doctor that carries an MD after their name yet has no insight into the meds they prescribe and their affect on physical disabilities then this place is for you. If you want a doctor with their own psychological hang-ups that they reinvent as yours (projection) then you will be happy there.
