Salvador Hope

I want this to noted for a few reasons: Everybody I know states the negative attitude they receive while in a Doctor's office, the mistreatment of the staff, the being "a number_not a human being", and the dreaded one of them all is how much time of theirs is being wasted on this facility....I use to be this person, but as of recent have come to accept that the care I am receiving from PCP Hope Salvador is invaluable. It is true I do sit for awhile and I do feel my time could be best utilized, but the care I receive is not that I am a number. Even her nurse Shelley Ann goes the extra mile. It is not because I have been there forever either and developed a repertoire...(I have been there since 2009 and been with a variety of staff members, Rachel Carriburru (?), and Pam Engle (just name a few others) it is that I have learned to come prepared to be there. Just as I want to not be treated inadvertently and be disappointed in my care I realize there are others in the same situation as myself and if we expect a delay and come prepared for it I find my visit goes fairly well and at the end I feel I was heard and appreciated and did receive the proper care or get referred to the proper specialist. Hope Salvador impressed me so much the first time I met her that my instant disdain for not being able to see my previous doctor soon dissipated. I now always come well prepared and my efforts are appreciated. I also go on Monday evenings now as they are open later and try to be close to the last person for her schedule as she is willing to take the extra time to listen and follow-up with true respect for my concerns. The outcome at any facility is never a 100% the best, but I WOULD NOT change having her as my PCP and Shelley Ann as my nurse. Her nurse is so sweet and she always keeps me informed of what can be done and the time in which it might take and should I miss an appointment I do receive a wellness check phone call from Shelley Ann. Thanks to both of you ladies, the patience to have a clear schedule, and the ability to make sure in the event that an emergency does arise I am capable of cancelling and rescheduling, my appointments have been an event I look forward to and a day I actually plan on it being a wait and bring along that book I seem only to get to read when I am waiting at a Doctor's office. Thank Shelley Ann and Hope Salvador. PS Doing okay and will schedule soon.
