Instead of being a physiotherapist they became my friends. I would give this plat 10 stars out of 5 if I could. They do their job to the highest quality and with a smile. I came here from WSIB after a workplace injury and they gave me instructions on what to do, demonstrated it and even did it with me. They told me what exercises to do at their location, at home and what to use instead of their equipment; how many to do, when to increase the work and by how much, what to do before my surgery for preparation and after for recovery; etc. They made me feel at home, secure, happy and literally on my feet again I couldn’t walk for some time after my injury and surgery. I almost want to injure myself again to go back there!
Strongly recommend this clinic. From my personal experiences, this is one of the best ones in Oakville.
I decided to choose this location from all of the Altum care clinics for the reason that it had the most flexible schedule. I couldnt make it at times for my appointments but rebooking was easy and with no issues. The front desk ladies are simply amazing, energetic, enthusiastic and kind. Emily the kniesiogist is knowledgeable and goal oriented which works well with patients who are trying to achieve their health goals. OT, kara is an amazing person who embodies the peace and mindfullness that she taught me; these skills are for life, i thank her so much. Another PT i worked with Deana is generously with her knowledge and puts safety first, which helped me trust her the moment i started working with her. Sasha the PT is knowledge, professional and easy to build rapport with. This team is the best, in my opinion. I highly recommend this particular place when picking a UHN clinic for WSIB. I reccomend this to my friends. The RMT who works here is so kind, knowledgable, patient and accommodating. It takes years to find a good team, i am happy to have found one under one roof. I hope they add a female PT who specialization in pelvic floor issues.
I was sent here through a workplace injury for assessment. I found the office staff and occupational therapist I dealt with to be very kind, through and welcoming, not my same experience with the doctor involved. My first visit I left feeling ok but not completely happy with his take on my injury but he’s the doctor and I trust that he had my best interests and that he knew better than I. Told me to continue with physio and it would get better in time. “ There was no need for an MRI that the ultrasound showed a rotator cuff tear we already know what’s wrong with you.” Surgery is not necessary, that was a relief to me but my ROM was still not great. Had a couple of set backs next couple weeks during physio pushing it to hard causing pain and inflammation… My second visit a couple months later I found him to be rude and basically told me well if you don’t do your exercises your not going to get better and I should talk to my work and tell them I need a permanent modified position and that Wsib will cut me off soon. Firstly I was at work everyday doing what I was capable of within my restrictions as directed by work and physio and after my 40 hours a week I went to physio 2times a week and did my exercises at home. To accuse me of not was completely unwarranted the man barely knew me… I questioned myself after I left if I was a size 2would he of said that? My physio was increased to 3 times a week after this visit, in the meantime my family drs referral to a surgeon came through covid time frame and he called me and ordered an MRI to see what was going on after he viewed the same ultrasound. That MRI was completed and there was cause to order another for further investigation which I’m still waiting for that one. My 3rd recent visit back to altum was my final one… I have reached my maximum recovery they said, that was disheartening but I’ve gotten better just not 100% I’m able to do most of my job I’m a psw thankfully we work in teams so that helps me. But I would like to say I have never been so rattled after talking to a dr, he went off on me very rudely and condescending about going for an MRI and wasting taxpayers dollars not once but twice, and that the time slots for those MRI appts should be used by patients who have an actual significant injury not something as insignificant as mine… and that if he was to do an mri of my other shoulder that it probably looks the same given my age, job and physique. Really cause I have full range of motion in my other arm… when the therapist was doing the necessary discharge paperwork in another room with me she commented about the drs behaviour saying “he’s very passionate about the healthcare system wasting time”. This is my career it’s not a waste of my time.. it’s taken me 11 months to get back to regular duties at work within that time I lost thousands of dollars in overtime and holiday pays… if I was capable of working I would have been. I know surgeons are known to not have a very good bedside manner but all I can say is wow and I’m glad I’m discharged
I am thankful to Mr Sachs , who really served greatly to get rid of my pain after accident. Although my few sessions are left, but I assume he did good and I might not go for any extras. He take care generally and smoothly. May God bless him with all happiness and prosperity
They are very thorough in their assessment. Very friendly staff. I was going to a different physio therapist before and wasn't really getting results. I switched to Altum and i saw improvements soon after I started. They are well equipped with the facilities to get you back on your feet. It a bit of a drive for me but I gladly drive the extra distance!!
What an amazing and professional team, from reception desk to staff to management to location and cleanness. Physiotherapist Sacha Bhandal took his time at first visit to answer all my questions and went through very thorough examination to find the root cause and recommend treatment options. Explained every single step and gave examples and follow-up to ensure patient's questions are answered. Calm, clear communicator, precise and very knowledgeable. I woke up this morning completely different and on my speedy path of recovery. : highly recommended and will come back soon. BIG THANK YOU!!
I came to this clinic due to the highly rated reviews it had online. The clinicians here are really knowledgeable and was impressed by the manager who took the time to speak with me. He was very engaging and incredibly professional. I work in health care myself and recommend this place to anyone who wants a well thought out recovery process.

Not at all happy with the treatment qnd program i recieved here. WSIB endorsed of course. Out of the three staff that i was supposed to see i only ever saw one on the regular. He was good, decent enough guy. Got really sick with a chest infection near the end of my treatment and missed a few apointments, first day back at work after being sick i recieved a voicemail saying i was discharged from treatment. Seek care elsewhere.
