Allstate Insurance Agent: The Hartman Agency

Big shout out to the Hartman agency especially Tabatha. Have always had a great time dealing with these guys. Would recommend to anyone.

I used to be a Hartman customer. My agent called me to warn me that they were going to cancel our insurance because some tree branches were getting too close to our house. I had an arborist come chop down the tree. Then my agent said they weren't sure they could tell the difference, and anyway there was some unspecified problem with one of the fences. They couldn't tell me which fence or what the problem was. I just switched insurance companies to avoid the hassle. The (not) funny thing was that the agent kept sending me spam, asking to be my agent, even after he had spent the summer saying he wanted to cancel my insurance. After the third time I asked him to stop sending me spam I finally decided to write an online review. Every business has its quirks, I guess, but the thing that stood out to me with this agency was how angry they got when I kept asking them to stop sending me unsolicited spam emails.

Our Saxton agent called today to let us know that because we had a mixed breed dog (that may have some rottweiler in him) that our insurance will be cancelled - effective in two weeks. Yay. The agent explained that "we aren't insuring YOUR dog, we're insuring millions of dogs, and the statistics show that...blah blah blah." The problem is that I am not millions of people, we are one family looking for decent insurance. Allstate - the good hands people. But only good for holding your money.
