Calling out Kevin specifically at the contractors desk. This guy is easily the biggest grade A douche bag I’ve ever had the misfortune of speaking/working with. Not only is he rude and disrespectful on the phone, he has no problem being rude and disrespectful to your face. The younger guy, James, obviously he is picking up on Kevin’s lack of customer service and general human interaction skills but he’s a little more tolerable than Kevin himself. Go anywhere BUT this home hardware location for your products, trust me, you’ll be saving yourself some serious headaches.

Wanted to return some insulation (Unopened and unused) that I had purchased in Orangeville and purchase items I need to get started on a bathroom renovation. Found out their policy is not to accept returns from other stores. Guess they don’t want any of the $4,000 I am about to spend on the renovation. I will either drive to Orangeville, or go to Home Depot from now on. So glad they are getting a new store. Now they need to improve their customer service.

Awful store. Bad management. We built a home through their beaver homes program and it was a pretty poor decision. Months of delays to get the plans, many errors on the plans, delays sending everything and they short shipped pretty much everything. Moved in with no door handles on, cause apparently thats a real challenge for them... no help from the GM who doesn't even reply to emails. Save yourself some time and energy, go to shelburne HH.

Just go to the Cookstown HH... Seriously. NO ONE EVER asks if you need help at the Alliston location. Even the manager. She'll just completely ignore you. Of course finding someone is another chore at times. Heck, one time I called the Cookstown location FROM the Alliston location and got faster service, and drove there, because no one could help me at the Alliston one. That was the most pathetic display of Alliston HH I've ever experienced. Cookstown HH is a model of customer service and I'll drive all the way there over going to the one in my own town.
