Alice's Village Cafe

Harvest salad, latte, smoked salmon sandwich… Everything had a thoughtful taste combo. Server didn’t mind more orders halfway through, and we love paying through the app — no wait. Art on the walls is in regular rotation and always intriguing, too. Cyclists congregate on the weekend like it’s a weekly club. :

Stopped into Alice’s for a late lunch. We were seated quickly and ordered two different kind of sandwich’s which came quite quickly. The portion size is large we brought at least half of each dish home, and although simple the food was great. After being served our food we did not see our waiter, never checked in, and had to go up to the cash to get our bill to pat. It’s unfortunate because we would have tried the coffee too!

Above and beyond in everything ! Splendid the food is so delicious and well made : tasty to the last bite. The coffe was one of the best coffee I had in the Ottawa region. The atmosphere, rustic, fresh and refreshing. My kind of a place. The music, classic country and oldies nVibes are 10/10 in everything.nMy favourite places the staff are the best ! Kind, happy, caring and delightful to be around.

I would not recommend this cafe shop to anyone as you will be disappointed without a doubt! They are very unwelcoming to cyclists in particular!nFirst, staffs are very rude and unprofessional! They refused to serve us on their own benches on back of cafe told us we can only have paper cups to go this was all after they didn’t let us sit on the patio tables. We were told to leave our bike in the racks far from the sitting area, even though we told the waitress we don’t have any locks and our bikes were out of the way from the patio tables!nSecond, the pastries were very average, dry probably from several days ago and over priced! Not to mention,they didn’t even serve my pastry in a plate and I had to go inside and ask for a plate! What a service!nThe coffee tasted fine but as picture shows they didn’t even know how to froth the milk properly :/
