First time and Last time!! I do not know what hit me on my head and was convinced by some friends to go try the Fish at Adonis. So Today Saturday March 02 I called their west island branch early in the morning and spoke to a guy and ordered 4 Dorade and 1.5 kilo of Merlan all FRIED and asked him what comes with it and he said Bread and Tahina sauce, I specifically asked him to prepare it so I can come pick it up at 5:15pm. And so I did, arriving there in the kitchen section, I was shocked by the chaos that was happening, where the employee was almost arguing with a customer about not finding his order! And I said it is starting really well! Then came my turn and the guy asked me my name, and when I did he smirked at me and said AHH so you are that one!! I asked him what is going on, he replied that they confused my order with another client who had the same name!! Finally after running around he brought my order and since he planted already the doubt in me, I opened it to verify if everything was ok. To my surprise, the 4 dorade were all grilled not fried, the merlan were fried and everything was cold, even though I insisted to pick them up at that time so I can serve them to my guests hot, and by the time I reached home 20 min drive, the the Merlans were soggy and the oily liquid mixed with the Grilled Dorade!!!Just separate the grilled from the fried for god sake!! not to mention they forget the Tahina Sauce!! When I complained about my order being prepared the wrong way. a supervisor came in just to offer me in an arrogant way to wait another 45 min so they can re-do my order from scratch claiming that they had too many orders and things like that happens!! I could not wait because my guests were arriving in 30 minutes. I have been buying my fish at Sailors in cote vertu for the past three years and I never had any issues like this and I deeply regret going to Adonis, they are purely not professional and not organized. DO NOT GO THERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!. By the way, If you think I am just someone trying to ruin your reputation, my order was under the name of Hani.

Adonis offers fresh meat and bread, maintaining quality, but the recent price increase makes it less competitive compared to other stores.

We're in from out of town and just needed a few items. The staff was so friendly and helpful. You can tell they get along and have fun working there. I love seeing that employees are happy where they work. Produce was lovely and the dairy and meats had a wide selection.

I just had the best grocery shopping experience! Weird to be saying that, but it is true. Adonis had some items for sale that made it worth it to go there. I probably asked 5 different people where specific items were and EACH and every one of them were polite, courteous, friendly and went out of their way to physically walk me to the areas where they were located! I was just SO impressed I had to share that!

Bit pricey compared to other stores but they do have good variety in food and mostly arab style food.nIt will be good if they add halal option in their fried bakery itemsnAlso good thing is most of the workers there are helpful some are rude but over all good option to buy small grocery items
