I'm sure these reviews are bought. Terrible service, takes advantage of customers and I will be looking into taking legal action for fraudulent activity.
I first started with AccessCredit in February of 2020. They put on a very good front of professionalism and quality customer care. Until the documents are signed and finalized and you pick up what ever vehicle/machine they are very good……..but shortly after that it all goes out the window. It was about a year-year and a half before I/we had any financial woes, they “play-ball” and make payments arrangements to catch up the past due amounts. I ended up changing jobs and when from weekly pay to bi-weekly pay, I was told that they could not change my payment dates until I was able to clear up the one, maybe two payments I had fallen behind, and always keeping contact through phone calls and emails. Now with a family of six, switching frequency of “pay-day” can have a big effect, and week after week, whether I had the money in my account or not, they kept putting through payment's, charging me miss payment fees and costing me NSF fees through my bank. Now, every week I am being charged an extra $95. Our Dodge Grand Caravan was/is being financed through a different company and have never had a problem changing payment dates or accounts to withdraw money from So I open a new account with a different bank and try giving Access Credit Leasing that information and they tell me “No, we will continue to try and take money from the account information we have on file until you catch up your payments and then we can possibly change it”. So, I make payments via e-transfers to the company that go directly to their accounts recevable, which does nothing because they keep trying to take money from the old account and will not stop. Then the emails threatening legal action and repossession start. So I borrow and pay a couple larger lump sums, that again doesn’t help because they keep trying to go through the old account. So now, I am out just over $11,000 that I have paid towards the vehicle, I have a negative $1600 balance with the bank and having the vehicle repossessed today. Anyone, saying this company has helped their credit is either lying, or finally made it to the end of the lengthy contract. The only time ANYTHING, appeared on my credit report from Access Credit was when they where negatively impacting it as a way to “bully” larger payments while still not changing the account to take money from which I tried many, many times to do, and of course negativity impacting my credit while threatening repossession. My advise, do not use this company. They do anything and everything to basically “screw” you over and make more money off you. Jonathan Taylor Much like the response to others you have been the same way with me. Do not try and be condescending and I do not appreciated you trying to discredit me! Not only do I still have the emails which I am very happy to share telling me your company will NOT change my payment frequency or the account to take the payments from, the names are of more than one to three of you representatives which I will add to my review. One, who has been mentioned in another review I have read of the negative variety. I have read the contract and I still have it, there is no direct “breach” of any clause, and I have am email and call logs from August and September……..as one I hit October and you/your company still would not change information people tend to “give up” and feel helpless. I fail to see what mentioning the “buy-out” option has to do with anything. Ill assume your the same person who threatened the legal action against me of I had a lawyer contact you for taking “unauthorized” payments out on top of the regularly scheduled ones……..you also seem to have trouble focusing on the main issues…….the e-transfers I sent where not the problem, they would have brought the past due up and made my account “out of the red”, and as you say the days/account information should have been changed, but was still not done/allowed. Feel free to continue this banter as it will be all on your own. Everyone knows how companies respond to negative reviews, and my one is not the only one.
Even with subpar credit they got me into one of my dream vehicles, super flexible with payment rescheduling. Very helpful staff
UPDATE- Case and point, their professional reply. AND their obvious lack of knowledge of privacy laws regarding their client’s information. However they will soon learn. This company is the worst of the worst companies to do auto financing with. Mia-Kim Tremblay gets extremely mad when you ask a question that would require she make a little effort during her work day. What a complete clown show.
Kim is amazing. She is pleasant, well spoken and efficient. I truly appreciate her handspring my file. She is a strong employee and deserves a raise.
My husband got a car YEARS before even meeting me and it was a total lemon. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS. They are fraudsters who will harass and badger even using their own personal Facebook accounts to annoy people AFTER communicating with the actual person responsible. Absolute trash that plays fast and loose with the law.
So far so good no complaints so far
