I started recommending Academy Mortgage before our close date, I was that satisfied with the staff. All of the staff members at the office I went to were also very nice and answered all of my questions. We were even able to close early because of how efficient the team was. We are so pleased we were lucky enough to hear about Academy Mortgage

I do not recommend at all. I have had many costly mistakes made by Kristi that have prevented me to purchase a home. Critical details overlooked and misquoting payment after I had already signed and finalized my contract. Only to find out she missed something and my payment went from $1275 to almost $1500! UNREAL! STAY AWAY! Go elsewhere. I hate negativity and complaining. But I could not help myself! BEWARE!

Kristi Barber at Academy Mortgage is by far the greatest broker in the area. I've worked with a few, fired one, and am as happy as can be with Academy Mortgage. The whole staff is personable and efficient, but Kristi Barber is the only broker I will use or recommend. If I needed another mortgage broker it will be her, even if she's taken a job elsewhere. If she opened her own brokerage I would dump Academy for her. Both great, no disrespect meant. They are just blessed to have her.

Kristi and the team at Acadamy Mortgage were recomended to me by a friend that I trust completly. He said that Kristi is easy to work with and does a great job. I found that to be very true. She kept me informed every step in the process of buying our new home. She got everything done as fast as possible.
