Abruzzi

This was my first time attending this place, and although the service was good, the food was a little bit lacking. I had high hopes too when it came to the oysters. Small in size but I feared the worst when it had "hot sauce," which I usually assume is Frank's red hot sauce. However, I was surprised that it was unique. The main course was a bit too cold for me. Maybe it is supposed to be served like this? But it felt like it was left out to chill a bit too long. It was okay. But for the price range I expected better.

3.5 -> Had a great celebratory dinner at Abruzzi. The highlight of this dinner was definitely the main courses - we enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin, which was perfectly cooked and the Sweet Pea & Ricotta Ravioli. Service throughout the meal was excellent. We were disappointed to hear they were out of Octopus and settled on the Tuna Crudo delicious and Buratta underwhelming / tiny portion - wouldn’t order again for our appetizers. The cocktails at $15 each were also underwhelming. Bottles of wine are heavily marked up, so we settled on a few glasses to enjoy with the mains. They pack it pretty tight in there - be prepared to sit very close to your neighbours. We’ll likely return for casual weeknight dinners only in future - not sold on the apps, wine list or cocktails unfortunately.

We quite enjoyed ourselves here! The food was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was really cool and the service was impeccable even in a blizzard! We ordered the crostini, which was absolutely delicious grilled Beef Tenderloin and sous-vide Lamb Osso Buco. The main dishes were absolutely delicious and the pureed Yukon Gold potatoes with the lamb was divine. The veggies were cooked and seasoned to perfection and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for the amazing 1st experience here! Kudos to the staff!

I couldn't Say enough good things about this restaurant period from the moment we walked in. We were well looked after. The food was fabulous the wine was great and the service was what I'd expect from a place like this.. Look forward to coming back.Food: 5/5

Fantastic food and service... very busy on weekends so make your reservations in advance. This is a cozy and lively restaurant and the tables are quite close to each other so dont expect a quiet meal. The eggplant parmesan and Casarecce were the highlight of our meal... the owner came around to introduce himself and speak with us... very nice.

Had my first experience at Abruzzi and it did not disappoint. I got their seasonal ravioli I believe it was a pea and ricotta filling, and then topped with peas and ham, and it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive, and everyone enjoyed their meals greatly. I went with my family, and we all agreed we will be going back!

I had a great time at this restaurant, the food was filling and most importantly very delicious. I ordered the Chicken Supreme and it was cooked to perfection. The staff are truly committed to great service.

Celebrated my 30th birthday dinner! Fabulous experience and great service. I love it when menu is limited and clean to read. Amazing choices of apps and entrees! Our food was delicious and very lively ambience.

Had Scott as a server, he was very attentive and friendly! Made our night much more special. We had cocktails which were super tasty and the food was to die for. I had the beef tenderloin with gnocchi and green beans and my partner had the ravioli. He doesn't typically like pasta but he loved the ravioli, he said it was filling and was seasoned to perfection. We had scallops and pork belly for an entree and the special was crostini. Never had food so good in my life. Any big celebrations or special nights out would 10000% recommend!

Excellent service and pasta dishes were amazing! Definitely hit the spot for homemade pasta! Stopped on our way through London.
