I was in Missoula for business and 4b’s was within walking distance of my hotel. I ate there for breakfast all 3 mornings. The food was delicious, good comfort food breakfast. The Denver omelette was filled with ham and veggies and cooked perfectly. The hash browns didn’t disappoint either. The Fast Break special was equally good. Brenda, my server, recognized me the second morning and by the third morning she told me to seat myself. She was working breakfast by herself and kept up with everyone’s orders, kept the coffee cups full AND worked the register! The restaurant was built on top of the river and the views are amazing! I highly recommend 4b’s for breakfast.

This was our first time here. Isabelle was the best, so sweet and helpful. The atmosphere is really comfortable. The burger and fries were amazing. I got some breakfast which was good but a little cold. We would still highly recommended a visit.Food: 4/5
This restaurant sits above rattlesnake creek. Literally above it. So we chose to sit in the booth section that is lined with windows to watch the goings on of the wildlife while we dined. I would suggest that if you have trouble getting around that you chose a table to sit at as the booths need to be reupholstered. It was around 3 pm so the place wasn't too packed or too noisy. Our waitress was great. She aimed to please. The cook sent the food out in a timely manor. My husband ordered liver and onions which he said was good. I guess a person can't get that at too many places. I had a BLT with tomatoe soup and sweet potatoe fries. Also good. My take on this place is that we would probably eat here again but not very often.
Exactly what you want in a diner. Large portions, right price, clean, lots of regulars, staff that'll chat you up or just bring you coffee depending on your preference. The building straddles a small stream that runs through town. I went here three days in a row prior to a long day of fishing and the food held me the entire day. Taste great!
4Bs is so cute, it reminds me of a little movie set. The food was delicious, relatively affordable everything is expensive these days, & our server was sweet. I think the place does need a deep clean, but we still enjoyed our lunch.Food: 5/5
4Bs is a classic Montanan dinner, at one of the most beautiful restaurants locations, set over top the Rattlesnake Creek. They serve the best tomato soup, hands down. If you don't order it you are missing out. Breakfast is good, but avoid the steak and ask if you want crispy hashbrowns. The lunch and dinner menu is a bit dated, same menu since the 90s with the addition of some sides in the 00s, but they execute it well for a decent price. The club sandwich is a personal favorite. Great place and very Montana.
Fantastic!! 4B'shas great comfort food for when you're on the road or just want something cozy to munch on. If you've heard of the chain before you've probably heard about their tomato soup, which is just as good as everyone makes it out to be or better. The Missoula location is right on the creek, offering a great view all year round. We went in about an hour or a half before closing and there was only one girl working the front. It was very obvious that they were short staffed, and if you've any experience in food service you'll know how that is. Naturally the service was slow, as it was still very busy and the kitchen seemed to be short as well, but we weren't in any kind of rush so it wasn't a problem. The girl who was serving was very kind to boot, and even though she wasn't able to be as attentive to the table she was very courteous when she did stop by. Im not sure if it is a staffing issue though it usually is in these kinds of settings, and I'm not sure if all of the days/shifts are like this, so I'm not going to knock them for that. It's not the server's fault nor the cook's. All in all a strong recommend, the food and atmosphere are great despite the wait time we experienced. That goes for the one down in Deer Lodge, which was much better staffed and had very prompt service. Definitely check it out and pick up a quart of soup to go for your next couple meals!
Came in and the restaurant hours posted on Google were not up to date. I didn't realize it was 15 minutes to closing or I would have left. The server was so nice and friendly.... that was truly the best part of the entire 4Bs experience. The old 4Bs on North Reserve that closed long ago still wins by a long shot. The food was mediocre at best. They are having a hard time with staff and tired and overworked employees probably contributed to that.
Tried the senior menu Southwest Omelet today. It was delicious and nutritious!! Our server was attentive and pleasant. It is a clean, welcoming place for a meal anytime!!Food: 5/5
