Super delicious brunch! Yummy food and great cocktails. Service was prompt and friend...
Food was good, service was pretty good, the cocktails were pretty good. Not a big fan of cheese on a fish taco. Also $5 for about 3oz of chicken on a Caesar, might be a bit much.
Spur of the moment road trip ended up with us being in Missoula for dinner. Found this place and couldn't have been happier. Totally the place if you like a bit of "heat". My burger was cooked perfectly and the sauce had the right amount of burn, but was not overpowering. It went perfectly wirh my adult milk shake the Dirty Girl.
I haven't been here for a long while and I wasn't disappointed with the breakfast I had with my girlfriend. The service was great and the food was excellent. The espresso martini was phenomenal and the bartender did a wonderful job making a unique birthday drink for the lady! While not necessarily a hole in the wall place, the laid back vibes and chill atmosphere really made breakfast THAT good.
This place is really cool! Old school building turned into a classy bar/restaurant. I’m not sure if the head chef is the owner but they tailor weekly menu specials for the customers. Some really delicious food! Great burger, I was insanely full! Extensive bar! You can get whatever your heart desires. A little on the pricey side is my only criticism. Their online menu prices are lower than actual prices. They are clearly not immune to inflation. I recommend they update the prices online.
We ordered the fried chicken. Pieces were very small and the slaw was very vinegarie! Buscuit was excellent and old fashion and sidecare were good. Red Beans and rice were good too
This is always a wonderful place for brunch. The food is phenomenal, and I swear that they put crack in the French fries! Our bartender, Chelsie, was amazing. Not only was she a great bartender, but since five employees hadn't come in that morning, she came in on her day off after working the night before and having only 4 hours of sleep. Great food and drink and even greater staff!!!
LOVE their breakfast/brunch! I had the OP breakfast the first time I was there and it was delicious. The potatoes O’Brien are amazing! The second time I was there, I got the Eggs Benedict and it was also delicious! Our server was very friendly. Great place!
Stopped in for dinner and sat outside in the back, which was nice. Service was friendly but a couple things were missed, including an appetizer and modified sandwich, wasn't too big of a deal though. The food took a while to come, but it was a Friday night so that's understandable. Overall it was pretty good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was tasty.
We come to The Old Post as often as we can - for the attentive and personal service, for the delicious and unique food, and for the creative twists on traditional drinks. If you’re lucky enough to have Brian as your server, you are in for a wonderful experience. We appreciate that the owners invest in supporting their staff beyond an hourly wage and are happy to support this local business. Missoula is lucky to have this spot; it will always be our go-to destination for out-of-town guests. Do yourself a favor and eat/drink/relax here!
Loving the new and improved Old Post! The new brunch menu is solid and the interior got a nice remodel. I wasn't a huge on the old establishment, but I'm definitely a fan of The Old Post 2.0. I had avocado toast and my partner had biscuits and gravy, it was delicious.
