Hidden gem, great food and service. Had the baked pork chop with prawn rice and it was very delicious. The German style fried pork knuckles with spaghetti was a surprise and very crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Fish balls and soup tasted great as well, would recommend. Parking: Only $1 per hour very affordable
Delicious food. Tried the baked ox tail on spaghetti #6, meat super tender and yin yang tomato beef with curry chicken #8, fried rice tasty with mild heat. Fast service. Prices a couple of dollars higher than at other restaurants. Will come back another time to try the German pork knuckle.Food: 4/5
Got takeout from the restaurant. Got the Baked Pork Cutlet & Prawns with Cheese in Tomato Sauce on Rice. Flavour was good and the portion size was reasonable. The fried rice was a bit mushy though, probably due to sitting in the takeout container for a while. We also got the German Pork Knuckle & Spaghetti with Black Pepper Sauce. The meat was tender and juicy but a bit on the salty side. Overall it was a decent meal. Will have to see how they compete with Happy Day Cafe right across them.
Delicious Hong Kong style cafe. Small restaurant but cozy. Yummy
Standard HK style bake dishes. The price is on the higher end but portions are smaller look at the size of that cold lon tea! It's great to try once but don't think will be coming back.Food: 3/5
Ordered takeout, it was quite fast. The baked pork loin cutlet in Tomato sauce is quite authentic. I like how they gave me a cup of ice and separate can of coke so i can pour it to the cup when i get home.
Very delicious and tasty baked pork cutlet and shrimp. Very good portion for the price you pay, will definately order again
Really small HK style restaurant. Food was really good and tastes very authentic. Prices are a little pricey $14-17 for baked rice but prices are increasing everywhere nowadays.
I’ve always been a fan of Red Bud’s HK style steak, so when I heard this is their second location, I had to try. So glad I did. This is by far the best HK style cafe in around this area. The pan fried meats and baked dish were both cooked to perfection. Also, the restaurant actually offered “extra” baked sauce that we requested, instead of the typical HK response saying that it’s impossible to add more as there’s not enough space. Thank you for your great service. The cream soup was also perfection, and doesn’t taste like Campbell cream soup ie. Neptune Noodle, and we appreciate their complimentary soup as only one set came with soup. The only feedback I have is the garlic sauce for the steak is too watery. We will definitely be back, but I’m hoping this place won’t get too popular or the wait will be long as this place is tiny with 8 tables only. Keep up the great work! Vancouver needs more quality HK style cafe like yours and Fat Boy.
Been wanting to try this place because we miss a good HK cafe meal. Ordered baked pork chop with shrimp and the truffle spaghetti, and both were very good. It came with borscht/cream of mushroom soup. Will be back to try other menu items. The food was well packed and still hot when we ate it at home. Service was great as well.
