Zoom Auto Spa

My boyfriend found a ad on groupon for this place to get the car rust proofed. We decided it was a good deal so he took his car in, that he bought a week prior, today for the rust proofing. Upon arriving, only one person was at the shop, an older gentleman who claimed to own the business. He did the rust proofing, they shook hands, and my boyfriend left. As he was pulling up to get gas 10 minutes later, he noticed a paint scratch and dent in his passenger side door. He called the shop to asked what had happened and the man told my boyfriend to return. Upon his return, the guy repeatedly told my boyfriend he was a liar and wrong and that it was impossible for his car to have gotten scratched/dented, even though the paint macthed perfectly to the area around where he pulled the car in. The guy wanted to show how the car doors did not reach anything and that it was impossible to hit anything, and when showing, proceeds to hit his driver’s door against the hoist again. Even though he literally hit it again right in front of him, the guy tried to play it off like it didn’t happen, and told him he must have scratched the car himself. Will never be returning to this place again. Absolutely disgusted with the service and the fact that the guy could shake his hand and act like he did nothing wrong, and then proceed to mess it up more and still deny it. We didn’t even want a refund or reduction or anything, we just wanted him to admit it but he still refused to and kept calling him a liar.

Great service, friendly staff. Did an amazing job rustproofing and cleaning the car for a great price.

We went here last year on a Groupon and was satisfied so we purchased another Groupon this year. We will not be returning. The owner (different than last year) told us that we had to pay another $20 to "wash" (ie, spray with water) the underside of our van before adding the rustproof. If we didn't he said it wouldn't really work. We didn't have to do this last year! Then when we pick up the van he says that it's "cash only" or cheque, yet he wouldn't take the cheque (when he saw I had a cheque book) because it would cost him an extra buck to cash it??? Seriously?? So, he makes us drive to a bank and use the debit machine (and have us pay the service charge). What business operates on a cash-only basis these days with no notice or sign? No receipt given either which says that the money we paid him will never be claimed as income. A shady place--I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

seems like they did a good job rust proofing my car. on time and prices are good. they remove rubber seal to spray the oil and since their rustproofing the rubber wouldn't stay in place.

Staff very friendly however business did not give the appearance of being busy/successful. Waiting area and reception desk very blah and super small bordering on creepy. No debit or credit available. Cash or coupon only. 😕
