Zeytouna

We came to Zaitoun on a fine Sunday afternoon. We went for the Steak Sandwich and the Beef Shami Kabab Plate. The Steak was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms complimented it extremely well. I loved the taste and the sandwich was very filling. The beef plate was great in its own way. I heavily recommend this place and all the meat being Halal was an easy choice. We are regulars here! Love this place and are addicted to their spicy steak fries, which come in a generous portion. Very friendly service, we’ve tried other items in our many visits; tandoori chicken with salad very good, waziri plate very good, fried chicken super good and their ribs, both chipotle and BBQ satisfactory. There is lots of parking available and for a size of this restaurant, decent seating as well. Can’t wait to go back again, thanks!

My order came quick, Cashier was friendly but the food wasn’t as good as I hoped it to be. I had the steak poutine which was quite mid although the extra chipotle sauce I asked on the side helped with the tasteFood: 2/5

Steak sandwich quality went down significantly. I used to love getting that here. Used to be a 5 star option. However recently I noticed more mushrooms & onions instead of actual meat. Considering the price they should do better.Food: 2/5

We ate here for lunch and the staff was very friendly and helpful she recommended the Waziri Plate and the Chili Steak Sandwich. I ordered the Waziri plate which has Chicken Breast Skewer and Beef Shami Skewer took around 10 mins to arrive fresh off the grill. over all the meat was well cooked and had favour the highlight of the meal was the chicken. It was juicy and flavourful. Everything was well seasoned. Overall had a great experience dining here would recommend trying it out if you are nearby!

One of the best plates I've ever had ! By far the best food. Everything is freshly prepared, service is amazing and very friendly staff ! It was my first time trying Afghani food and honestly i was amazed how great it taste. If you love meat than this is definitely a place you should try ! I ordered a lamb mandi and honestly i thought it was a bit expensive 27$ a plate with salad but it was more than enough for me and my wife. So cant ask for a better price especially with the unforgettable taste !! This place deserves a 5 stars !! Thank you for the amazing food

Ribs 10/10 Fried chicken 9/10 Really liked the food taste and their garlic sauce. We were 3 people and ordered ahead in time but got our food slightly late than expected. Their ribs are finger licking good and very juicy and so tender that it was falling off the bone. Fried chicken when combined with their garlic sauce was great. Would love to come back again. Update: their lamb chops are good too

After reading so many amazing reviews I finally decided to ditch my favourite place across the street and try Zaitoun and I was not disappointed. I tried their Lamb Chops and Beef Shami Kafta and it was super tasty. Staff is super nice and helpful with big smile on their faces. I’m gonna try Ribs next time hoping it will be just as delicious as their lamb chops. Overall, clean place, nice location and good seating.

Ordered AAA 2 ribs with BBQ and Chipotle sauvece, I like the Chipotle sauce more than BBQ. The ribs were tender but not enough meat on the bone. That's disappointing when you pay almost $30 for ribs. We also ordered chicken broast spicy meal. It was good in taste but the spice added on top of chicken to make it spicy was not at all good. It was like just sprinkling a mix of red chilli and paprika powder. The ambience is nice, service is good and staff working there is also very nice. They need to work on improving the food quantity for sure.
