Launched in late 2012, Zanders Fire Grill & Brew Lounge is a fresh new experience to the Brantford dining scene.

Story

Music is food for the soul, as food is music for the pallet. As a musician creates music that moves people and brings them together, so does our food and atmosphere. We are not just another restaurant. The awe inspiring artwork, custom Harley's, and unbelievable electric guitar chandelier are just a small glimpse into the Zander's feel. We pride ourselves on providing a truly wonderful experience for all to enjoy. We want to be remembered as the place to create memories.

I love that they have daily Zanders Specials where you can get some of their popular menu items on great value. Through the Thursday specials we were able to sample the Beer can chicken and the Baby back ribs. The breading on the fried chicken tasted good, but there was a little too much white meat to go with it after. Good thing the gravy they have for their poutine and the chicken was very flavourful. The baby back ribs' meat was fall-off-the-bone-tender. Maybe a little bit too tender where it might be a little undercooked. There looks to be some traces of redness on the meat strands which may or may not be signs of still raw meat. We love the vibe of the place. It was packed during the Thursday night we dined in. Different sports were being played on the many different TV screens present in the restaurant bar. Their table service frequency could use a little bit of improvement. We found we had to wait for someone to come to our table a couple times too many during ordering and asking for the bill.
WOW! Came for a late lunch mid-week and was blown away! The size of their burgers are HUGE! Everything was delicious, including our app. Good prices. Service was timely and accurate. Will absolutely be back!!! Awesome place!
Wanted to try some where new.... and wow I was not disappointed!!!! The food there was a nice change from the norm and all fresh in house made.... can't wait to come back and try more dishes in the very near future!!
I have been to Zanders many times; we often went for the live music and Brunch on Sundays. This trip did not disappoint. I love to support local and Zanders is a GEM that keeps us coming back again and again. Service staff are pleasant and prompt with ordering, knowledge of menu and products and helpful in selections. The menu has something for everyone with ginormous portions. I appreciate the price of main’s as they are quite reasonable $15-25. We ordered loaded pierogi bites and flatbread. The pierogis had a tanginess to them and were a great bite size for a sharable. I order flatbread often. The potion was large again, great for sharing. My friend ordered the Carbonara Fettuccine with cheesy garlic toast. It was also delicious. Massive portions for both of us required us to box up our leftovers, which made for delightful lunches today! We ordered the triple chocolate cake for dessert, which was decadent and moist and was a great choice, in our opinions. I ordered the penne Bolognese with garlic toast. It was a toss up between the wings and the pasta. I haven’t had a bad meal ever at Zanders and recommend to those who are new in town or want to try something new. The Harleys on the back of the booths and large, hyper realistic photos of famous musicians add to the ambiance. Good food, good selection EVERY time. There’s a reason their customers keep coming back for more!! Kid-friendliness: They are totally kid friendly and offer many options for the pickiest of kids. Parking: There is ample parking most days I've been there, except for prime time on a Friday or Saturday. I appreciate they are busy and it doesn't bother me to park in their overflow parking!!! Wheelchair accessibility: This store is accessible from the parking lot to the restrooms.
We found this place after finding nothing good to eat in Paris and we are so happy we did! The reviews speak for the place! AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! Our waiter Peter was so nice. Readonably priced food, good quick service and tasty fresh food! We will be back! Highly recommend :
Stopped in today for a late lunch/early supper. We were seated promtly, in a booth by the bar. Ben was our server and he was very pleasant and had a quick witted sense of humor, which we loved. We had been to Zanders several times previously, and both my husband and I chose meals we hadn't had before. I had the Philly cheese steak with poutine - delicious! My husband chose the Triple Decker Tour Bus burger burger, pulled pork, dusted onions, bacon, cheddar and all the other usual burger fixings. It was massive and looked incredible. He said it tasted as good as it looked. Overall we were happy with our service and our food as usual and will definitely be back again!
The bones separated from the meat with the slightest of touches, cant explain how tender and amazing the baby back ribs were! Peter was amazing and helped out in creating a fabulous experience.
Came on a kids-eat-free Sunday. Switched it up and ordered garlic shrimp with cheese and bruschetta mix with chips and pitas to start; not garlicy enough, no seasoning but still good. The ordered kids lemon pepper wings with caesar salad; good size wings. Caesar dressing seemed to be the real kind and not store bought. I love that kind of caesar dressing; for a kid it would be too spicy from the garlic - my son never ate it I had too. I ordered Mediterranean shrimp pasta. Good size, buy again no seasoning. I've found that quite a bit at this place; more seasoning please. Oh and coffee dame out warm not hot was able to gulp it. And always seems to have messy floors when we are sat. Like ever time and was in the same area of the restaurant that I seen the mess before. Takes 2 more extra seconds to check to floor after wiping a table to make sure no big things are on it for the next guests. That's the pic of the spoon and napkin under our table when we sat down
I had the ZZ Top burger with fries and gravy. The place was very busy for a weekend at lunch which is usually a good sign. The decore is nice, building is well maintained. It looks small on the outside but has quite a bit of seating and a decent size patio. Even with the busyness, waiter was fast and attentive. Price was good and portions were large. The burger was a patty with bacon and veggies between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I have had similar burgers but this was my favorite of this type, the grilled cheeses were both full size. Fries were cooked well too and a good amount provided. No negatives to report.
I like the way that Zander's is decorated and I like the fact that there's a Harley-Davidson within the restaurant. Staff and service are good. They're good for lunch and dinner dinner for sure. I have the pasta carbonara and enjoyed it. There's plenty of parking around there and other shops and businesses after you eat and you could attend those as well.
