Jambo! These are the best samosas and different than almost anywhere else in the city. If you like East African style, Tanzanian or Kenyan samosa, this is where you want to go. These beef samosa are full of meat, piping hot and crispy, and pair very well with the awesome Tamarind Sauce - make sure you get the sauce and pour it on after every bite. Most places have a thick pastry wrapper with filling that is mostly potato or something else. Not these. Put them in paper towel or napkin as soon as you get them because they come right out of the deep fryer. You won't make it out of the parking lot without eating them.
They have the best homemade style, fresh and soft whole wheat roti. Once you try their roti, you won't go back to grocery store roti!!
My all time fav samosas is here! This tiny hidden gem is definitely a place you should visit for some East African style cooking! You must get the beed samosas! They are so good! A little pricey compare to samosas from other places but worth it! Don’t forget to say hi to Uncle!
Great home made chapatis ...new management....beef samoosa has gotten smaller...but still tastyFood: 4/5
The best ever samosas I've ever tasted here in North America, closest to Moms samosas ever!! Great food, great selection, great service!! 10/10!!
Ordered beef Samosas they gave me vegetarian samosas.
Authentic East African Muhindi sweets and other dishes. Mmwaah!! Amazing food experience.. South East Asian and East African combo for those that miss that flavour. The owner is a little aged so he tries to be careful in charging so be patient and there is sometimes a lady who helps him do the calculations. He smiles less because he is concentrating on his till.
The senior citizen at front and who answers the phone needs to taken for a mental evaluation his family should be concerned . The rudeness this man spews to folks that are not of his culture is blatant disregard for their business. Only reason we put up with this fool is because the small Roti’s amazing.
Worst customer service. Rudely behaving like they are the only one!!!!
We ordered rotlis - very very good! My son loves them so much and requested that I leave a review . Also bought the chevro and ghanthia which are delicious. We tried the bundi ladwa, pakora and kutless. Ladwa were yummy, but other items were a little too oily. Overall an amazing experience, will definitely go back. The gentleman at the cash and ladies in the kitchen were super friendly and kind.
