Akhigbe Nigerian Caterers

Ordered delivery from ubereats. I would not recommend purchasing through delivery. First off all my food was cold. I'm not sure if it was because of they use old and unsold food for delivery but both the chicken and jollof rice came cold. Secondly, the chicken I had ordered was extremely hard and dried out. The delivery time was around 7 minutes while the prep time from the restaurant was around 20 minutes, so there would have been no way that my chicken should have been that cold and dry if it were freshly made. Overall, I had spent around $40cad on this meal which consisted of cold chicken and cold jollof rice. I am not sure if the walk-in pickup or dine-in if they offer it would be a different experience but I definitely will NOT be purchasing or dining at the place again. Edit- I have just tried to bite into the chicken and it feels like rubber. If I could lower my rating anymore I would.

Loveeeee it!!!!! The food was rich, tasty and hot. The staff was also really nice and the delivery was fast I didn’t wait for a long time

I got food poisoning from eating the vegetable soup I bought from this restaurant, it wasn’t cooked well at all and it didn’t taste good. The cashier is rude, has no decorum and always messes up my order. Do not order through delivery, your order will neverbe complete, something will always be missing. Personally for me the food is zero star.

I ordered food from here and was given dry boiled chickens. The stews and rice I ordered all looked and tasted days old. The porridge was watery. The fish had too much salt and seasoning on it. The costumer service was terrible, rude people.Food: 1/5

I loved the jollof rice with turkey , and also the puff was nice , really felt like back home , definitely a place to buy top Nigerian meal . The fair lady who attended to me was welcoming and nice , I recommend. Top costumer service , she explained everything to me in details. Definitely coming back.

This restaurant is not organized and their food is nasty, it doesn’t look like the caterer knows what she is doing. The food is really dry and nasty. I found a bandaid in my vegetable soup. I three out all what I bought from them in the trash. The staffs are very rude, I spoke to a staff on the phone and she insulted me. I also ordered some items from Uber eats and I was not delivered all what I asked for, I called and they said they owe me. I went the next day and a very rude and nasty lady told me what I am being owed isn’t documented and that the lady who took my order isn’t available so she doesn’t know what I am being owned. She also hanged the phone while I was still talking. This is not Nigeria you have to be organized in what you do. I wasted my money, time and energy in ordering from here. Go somewhere else to order Nigerian food this place is trash.

If you want rude customer service and the wrong order every time you make one! This is the place to be! The owner and the employees both Very rude when approached about the wrong orders on both occasions, delivered frozen jallof straight from their freezer to top it off! If you have guests and want to use them for catering I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND, if I could give one star I would!

There moinmoin in leaf is still one of the best in town and the staff are really friendly . Delicious food! Lady working there was very nice in explaining the different items and giving some samples to try since it was my first time having Nigerian food. If you like spicy you will like the food. Very nice flavours and look forward to trying more. I ordered the red stew spicy chicken tomato stew, freshly fried plantain, and puff puff sweet fried dough. Also tried jollof rice and was very good. They sell food in large tupperware to heat at home or you can get individually hot prepared meals or smaller portions. Eg puff puffs can be sold in 3s.

The lawrence restaurant is great with great customer service from the two ladies...BUT just don't ever order from the catering main restaurant ! The catering department has bad customer service that doesn't apologize even when they are on the wrong and for many clients....customer service matters just as much as the product. Cook milk and honey if you like...but if you cannot relate well with your clients, you have failed !
