Yum Dum Truck

We recently had Yum Dum truck at a staff outing and were absolutely blown away! The food was DELICIOUS and the staff and service we received was amazing. They even prepared some specialty vegan options to make sure our team was accommodated. We will definitely be using them again!

I tried this truck today at a spot near my office- behind the Prudential building- on E Randolph. I had the $10 dumpling selection with a drink . Meal came with 6 chicken Thai dumplings and 4 spicy cheese rice balls. Both were great but those rice balls were the favorite. Also came with this weird chop/fork so you can eat your dish either way. it was nice for a easy lunch that is not too filling. Food service was quick despite 5 other orders before mine. I will be back to try the Bao sandwich next time!!

Omg kimchi fries and pork belly steamed bun. This food truck is fabulous! Flavorful and the kimchi isn't overpowering. If you love kimchi in the traditional sense I would not recommend them, but if you just want to dip your toes in some kimchi I highly recommend it.

We recently had Jeff and his Yum Dum food truck at our daughters wedding as the late night snack!! It was incredible!! The bao buns and spicy kimchi balls were a huge hit . It was also such a fun surprise for our guests when the truck pulled into the venue! Jeff was a true professional and it was a seamless and pleasant experience working all the details out with him before the big day . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! And looking forward to dining at his restaurant in ChicAgo as well !

Dum yum, just catered my daughter and her husband’s local wedding celebration. What a fantastic event it was. The communication with Jeff, the Yum Dum, purveyor, was outstanding throughout the entire process. We had planned on a May event and then COVID hit and Jeff didn't blink an eye when we canceled. He immediately refunded my deposit. I then rescheduled the event and Jeff was so accomodating. Yesterday we had the party and the event was so perfect. Dum Yum kept the food flowing. Guests loved ordering what they wanted to eat from an extensive menu. Jeff engaged the guests because he is so friendly. One of my friends commented on how Jeff and his food truck added a whole cool vibe to the shindig. The best part for me is I didn't have to worry about the food or food service. My friends loved having their own private food truck. It was a brilliant experience from start to finish. I highly recommend dum yum and Jeff for an unforgettable and unique party!

It's 7 am on a Friday morning and I am aggressively searching for the location of this truck today. The food is great! I love it!

Good food. I had the Chicken variety with what appeared to look like kimchi. The fluffy white bread thing...doesnt have much flavor but its probably traditionally meant for texture. The deep fried balls kinda tasted like potato. Just know that when you order here..it'll likely be fried or deep fried food. But tasty!

Recently found this truck on Wacker by the Sears Tower and now it is a habit! It's super quick and super good. Love the different coleslaws they put in all of their baos and the sauces you get with them I think they have pork belly, chicken, fish, and maybe a rotating one - the crispy chicken and pork belly ones are great. The rice balls on the side are also a must every time.

it was fun getting dumplings from a food truck and they were decent. I liked the bao sandwiches better but the issue i had is that everything was cold when i got it

This truck came to my work today and it was good! I had the pork belly and it was good, the pickled vegetables I wasn't crazy about. The kimchi rice balls were also good!
