I finally was able to review Phlavs on Maxwell, and I would honestly give them 4/5. The food was good if you’re looking for comfort bar food, and their signature Alfredo is definitely a fan favorite. I would recommend the Buffalo chicken rolls as an appetizer, and for an entree I would recommend the jerk Alfredo and the salmon Alfredo. As far as service, our waiter was very friendly and had good customer service. We had a small issue with the first batch of Buffalo chicken rolls coming out too crispy, so we asked our waiter for a new batch that wasn’t fried too hard and she delivered a new batch fresh and hot. On the other hand, the cocktails that we ordered were too strong, so we chose not to drink them. We asked our waiter to remove them from our bill since we didn’t drink the cocktails due to the heavy pour, and she informed us that their policy states that they can’t adjust a drink once it’s ordered. So we were stuck with the drinks on our tab unfortunately. Overall the vibe is cool. They play a mixture of R&B and Hip Hip, and the decor is unique. I give the food a 8/10, cocktails a 5/10, and service a 8/10.

The food was really good! The place is really small and gets packed very quickly so get there early I arrived right at opening. The service was good but extremely slow for such a small place. Found out they have a limited menu for Sunday brunch but still a good selection of things to pick from. Would recommend giving it a try. Parking: There is a pay lot right next to the building and street parking if you can find it. Wheelchair accessibility: Not large enough for a wheel chair!

Very good food and our server was excellent. I got the Chicken Tips with mild and jerk sauce, but I prefer the mild sauce since I don't like a ton of spicy food. The music and vibe was very good as well. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu in order to get better idea of all their foods. The restroom is very clean as well, but the parking in the area is very limited, so be prepared to walk to the restaurant.

I love the vibe of the bar. It is very nice. Food was accurately priced for the location of the bar. I did not like being given a plastic fork to eat my food without a sealed wrapper. I ordered the salmon Alfredo it wasn’t horrible but I didn’t finish my food because my salmon tasted extremely dry and my Alfredo noodles had little to no taste. There were no salt shakers available on our tables either. Our waitress however was helpful and kind.

Place was smaller than I expected. We visited on a weekday and though it was busy, there was no wait. I would recommend making reservations if you’re coming on the weekend. Great vibe. The food was delicious. A bit overpriced but very flavorful. I would come again.

The loaded fries were tasty. The jerk sauce is hot, but not too hot that it loses any flavor. Music was good and everyone was having a good time. The only downside, closing hours for the day I went we’re not reflected on their website/google so we had to eat pretty fast.

Very nice set up the food was absolutely amazing! I would say over all I had a nice time the only thing they need to work on is the customer service the waitress didnt check on us like she should it took her a really long time with our drinks they actually came out with our food another thing I would say the music was just a little too loud but it was good music.

Vibe was what was up! That jerk pasta - might be the best pasta ever and they are not afraid of giving sauce! do.you.hear.me? The drinks were okay. We had the strawberry Hennessy which wasn’t great but wasn’t horrible! The thing I didn’t like the most was how the tickets can’t be more than 2 payments so it’s not a place that you and your friends unless it’s two would want to go to! $300+ for our table and $150+ for our second table 7 at one and 4 at the other. It was a debacle trying to get check separated! I opted out to eat because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of dividing that too! I was told I could order it to go from the website and pickup from Out front but it wasn’t worth it! Although that pasta was DELICIOUS I tasted my brother in laws.

The vibe was great. The food was super fast so it was probably pre cooked but you can’t tell because everything tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommend don’t have a bad thing to say.
