Younkers

Mostly rating the salon. I see Amber. She knows how to cut curly hair and always pays attention to part my hair on the right side. She does end up with some uneven spots, so it always helps that she takes the time to straighten my hair and let me play with my hair to make sure no clumps were missed. I keep going back because she's a great person, and I'm always satisfied with my cut. One time, I did leave with an uneven haircut and she fixed it for free the next week. She always offers a free touch up if I find something when I get home.

Horrible staff... charged my debit card twice and STILL have not given me my money back...they say they don't know how to fix it....Horrible...never shopping in Ames Younkers again

The store itself is falling apart. The staff is rude as well as untrained.

I called to see if an item was available at the Store in Ames, IA. Dialed got message pushed all the buttons to get to the lady's apparel. The phone rang in the department for 15 rings. No answer. I waited 30 minutes and tried again. Still no answer after 15 rings. I never was able to talk to a real person. Very poor service indeed.

The store is supposed to open at 11 am and it's 11.15 am already and it's still not open.
