Absolutely love the selection of organic food and health products. The atmosphere at Wheatsfield makes me feel at home. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. Plus, their new smoothie/juice/coffee bar is AMAZING! Highly recommend.

This is a really fine choice for people who prefer healthy, local foods. So many stores like this disappoint me, but Wheatsfield was very good in terms of selection, pricing, service and attention to detail. There's lots of bicycle parking out front as well. I'm glad I stumbled onto this, as we live a ways out of Ames and don't get in all that often. Great store!

Small,cozy place has what I need so I don't have to drive to whole foods. Not a huge selection of items to choose from. Some products are over priced, not a friendly place to shop at. Breakfast burritos are very good. Slices of pies are delicious.

I love this store! The employees are super friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it for you if they can. I don't shop anywhere else!!

Small grocery store specializing in organic foods. The prices are extremely high, and the selection is limited, but if you like organic food this is the place to go. The store is community-owned, the staff are knowledgeable, and if you don't mind paying a little extra, this is a unique grocery store.
