Yorgo's Greek Food & Pizza

Everything we have had from there has been fantastic. The pizza is better than the other big names in the area. The dough is flavorful and cooked perfectly. We have also had the wraps and salad which has been fresh, and very well priced. The service is also friendly and quick. Yorgos truly cares about every customer. Three months after my original review there was a glitch in my order. Yorgos tooks it upon themselves to deliver another pizza, they go above and beyond to make very delivery perfect.

Not a great experience ordering from skip the dishes. Food took 20 minutes longer then the estimated time. When it arrived the fries and pitas were a bit soggy. Food was hit and miss. Not a fan of the gravy or the garlic sauce, the fries were average. The gyro and shawarma pita wrap were pretty good but like I said a bit soggy. The Greek salad was interesting. Not sure if stylistic choice but I didn't enjoy having such massive rings of onions, squares of feta cheese and halves of tomato. Difficult to eat and I would have prefer the ingredients to mix more. It also had barely any salad dressing. The rice was delicious and so were the potatoes but my platter was advertised as having a side of potatoes and it had four or five sprinkled on the rice. The quantity of the food for $40 was good, too much for two people, but the quality made it not worth the price. I don't think I will order from here again.

Ordered online. Never received food. Had to call and reorder. They offered me a free pop,but after hanging up they called back and gave me 50% discount. Not impressed with service or the food, never again!!

Hands down the best take out pizza you can find anywhere in Ottawa. Greek food is also very good, you must try their garlic sauce

I would not recommend this place. It is extremely pricey for what you get. I got the chicken souvlaki platter, the only thing that was good was the chicken, everything else was bad. The rice had no flavor. I was given only 4 potatoe slices!!! I'm talking little slices. The salad was not done well at all. It was all romane lettuce with one tomato slice, a couple peppers and two pieces of feta. The souvlaki sauce was good but given in a super small portion and didn't even last one slice of bread. Not impressed, would not recommend and bad quality.
