Lovely local ramen restaurant conveniently located in the mall. Interior is nicely appointed and staff friendly and courteous. Ramen came out quickly and all three bowls were piping hot and delicious. Broth rich and flavorful. Proteins were tasty breaded pork cows, BBQ pork but wish for a bit more! A perfect lunch on a cold winter day. Was in the area passing by and really hit the spot!
Had dinner here. Staff are friendly. Dishes come out quickly. Decor is nice. Seating is comfortable and in sections so offers some privacy and separation between tables. WE ORDERED black garlic BBQ pork ramen AMOUNT 15.99 Ramen w/sweetcorn & BBQ13. 99 Pork Shrimp Ramen 15.99 Yokohama Shoyu Ramen/soy sauce Ramen 13.99 japanese deep fried chicken special 3.99 Fried Potato Cake special{} 1.99 yakitori3pcBBQ Chicken 4.59 Gentle Spring Sakura Lychee SparklingL 5.59 The broth for the ramen has good flavour expect for the sweetcorn bbq pork ramen which is a little bland. The pork slices are a bit tough as well. Noodles are a good texture. I wanted my noodles a little softer which they were happy to accommodate without it turning out too soft. Dishes are not too salty like other ramen places where it’s just loaded with salt and no flavour. The batter on the shrimp, potato cake and chicken is light, crispy and not too oily. Really enjoyed the lychee drink as well. Would return and recommend.
I came here interested in their Yokohama-style ramen. So, I ordered the Yokohama shoyu ramen, with BBQ chicken yakitori on the side. The yakitori was $4.49 for 3 skewers. It was decent for its value, but I thought they were really good! The ramen was $15. I thought the portion was great for its value. It was my first time trying the Yokohama-style ramen. It had 2 chashu, a soft-boiled egg, bean sprouts seaweed was on top covering them, narutomaki, bamboo shoots, sesame seeds, and garlic. I can really taste the garlic and sesame seeds, nothing of the condiments were overpowering.I just really love that garlic taste. The broth was thick and had tons of flavor. Great experience! Vegetarian options: They have a vegetable ramen.
The ramen is really good and the spring roll! I’m not a big fan of the takoyaki. I brought my friend here for her birthday and she enjoyed her seafood ramen. However, we asked if there’s a birthday item for the celebrant but they said no it’s against their policy to give birthday gifts. That left a weird taste in my mouth because Ice cream is literally $2 and will cost nothing to make someone feel special on their birthday.
Enjoy a quick ramen dinner with my son here. The soup of Black garlic BBQ pork ramen is great but bbq pork a bit dry, probably over cooked. Creamy mushroom ramen is fine but I would prefer more veggies instead of Tofu. Takoyaki is fine, not much complain. Overall food quality is good. Seat are comfort and clean. Service is fine.
Reasonably priced food with quick service. There are a couple of combo specials for sides like takoyaki or karaage if you get a ramen with it too.Food: 4/5
Lovely little spot! Great food and nice service everytime I'm here. Pretty much the best in Richmondhill. I go with my partner every other weekend. Our plates were prettier but we kinda ruined it by the time I remembered to take a picture lol
Not bad at all, considering the fact that I ordered Shrimp ramen and got clear ramen and cold shrimps tempura on the side instead Even in the bill it was shrimp ramen but i was hungry and had no time to figure it out so didn’t clear up the confusion
Friendly and quick service. Ordered the pork ramen and they were very generous with the pork and ramen. The broth was very tasty. Delicious!
Ordered: Black Garlic Oil BBQ Pork Ramen + 2 snacks Soup base is quit nice. Quality = Price = Quantity
