I've heard a lot of good things about Sansotei, so when I saw they finally introduced a vegetarian option, I knew I had to try it. The Mazemen was good, though it didn't really hit the spot like ramen does. It didn't come with broth and was more of a noodle dish. I liked the spice and the flavour, but there wasn't much to it. All in all, a good option to have if your friends are craving ramen, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it. Also, seating was limited for larger groups, with most tables seating up to two.
Food is same as usual. I won’t say it’s the best ramen in town but it’s acceptable. The restaurant is pretty cold and constantly have cold draft from people opening the door. Our server is polite and friendly, but we waited pretty long for food during a slow day.
Came in on a cooler day for lunch. Wonderful service and quickly seated. Menu has the perfect amount of choice. Ended with the Tonkotsu Black Ramen. Food came out quite quickly. Price is around 15$ before tax for a bowl and is fairly priced especially for the price and amount you get. Nice touch to choose between thick or thin noodles. Broth has a great taste with each ingredient complimenting themselves. The meat itself is very tender and has its own sweet seasoning to it. Highly recommend for a great ramen spot and for anyone who enjoys ramen.
Great place to get some ramen especially over the winter time. If you are hungry, try this place. Broth is awesome.
I’ve been to this location 3 times so far and my experience every time has been amazing! The service is impeccable! I highly recommend eating here! Very friendly staff, very clean eating environment, and very clean washroom! The food is to die for I’ve had 3 diff types of ramen so far and all three were awesome! The Gyoza dumplings are killer ! Lots of parking here and easy to find ! Def coming back
I had spicy tan tan ramen and black tonkotsu ramen with less salt. I found it still little salty but they said i can ask for half salt next time. It was strong soup flavour great for rainy days. pork inside ramen was good and ramen noodle was cooked nicely. very clean and good service.
I got the tonkatsu black and it was good. However the noodles were salty and heavy, I needed to drink a lot of water. Customer service was not the best. Overall good visit though.
Best Japanese ramen I’ve had in Toronto. However, the soup was salty so I’d recommend you order less salty soup.
Excellent ramen. Good flavours and good broth. Ask for the less sodium option. Slightly less salt but no compromise on taste. Good choice if you're craving ramen. Great spot!
Ramen has good texture and the right amount of chewiness. Portion is rather small for the price charged. I found the broth too salty - even when I specifically asked for less salt. The pork is not as tender as I'm used to....say compared to Kinton. Uodate: You can order half salt and it's great!
