I like all the vegetarian soups. The broths are so tasty and delicious. I do add egg and duck! So not a vegetarian but I do like the veggies in my soup. The tofu nuggets are fried with a hash brown consistency, with little surprises of edamame. The bite of the noodles is satisfying and suits the broth very well. Veggie broths are less rich than the originals so I have a chance at finishing because you don’t want to waste a drop.
Wow, is this place ever good. The ramen is some of the best you'll have in the area. Even though it was the first thing we ate that day, the portion left us full to the point where we had to pack our appetizer to go. We had the Signature and the duck shoyu - the broth in both was creamy and flavorful. The staff are also very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The experience was made nicer for the intimate size of the restaurant, meaning they were never too far if we you needed something.
Congrats Midori Ramen for the opening of a new location. We attempted to go for the special 4 times on the grand opening day, but was unsuccessful. We went back today on a weekday around 2pm. We were greeted right away and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, with an add on of tamago egg, and the Red Spicy. Both with thick noodles. Both were very flavourful and a portion that is filling, and they came with a piece of chicken and pork chashu each bowl. Had the mild for Red Spicy, and it was a well-around hint of spiciness. The Black Garlic had some roasted garlic flakes in it too. The staff were attentive and kind. Would recommend giving it a try! A review goes a long way in helping promote businesses :
Finally a Midori Ramen uptown in Richmond Hill. I absolutely love this brand new location! They've only been open a few days but you would never know as the staff and service is top notch already. Very friendly staff and the service is amazing! I love this Original tori paitin, So flavourful and delicious broth. Exactly what i needed during this cold winter weather. 5 stars all around. Great dinning experience!
Superb service, the waitress was very nice. Ordered tori paitan shoyu ramen, black garlic ramen and fried purple yam. The 2 ramen were exactly same as the photos in menu. The black garlic ramen was very tasty, purple yam was so delicious that we wished we had ordered more.Food: 4/5
I love this place! We got the red spicy and black garlic this time. The broths are so unique and the service is great. You can see that the cooks handle everything with care.
The experience of the wonderful warm Ramen begins with the greeting. All staff greet you with a smile and warm vibe. The food is outstanding and legit. The broth is the main highlight of the ramen. Highly recommend the Chicken karage, duck with anything, and for sure try the octupus appetizer for the wasabi lover. Visited in the middle of a storm and the ramen warmed me up for the rest of the day very filling proportions.
We came here during the soft open, so the menu was a bit limited. The Chicken Goyza were my favourite—it was so crispy. I also got the Signature Tori Paitan, but it was a miss for me. I wasn’t a fan of the broth. Service was great! Overall, great service and presentation. I can’t wait to try more things off their menu.
Excited to the new location in Richmond Hill, ON. The elevated eatery space is a great place for lunch and dinner with a beautiful bonsai planned to be overlooking the dining room. It get super busy! We loved how friendly and excited the staff were about the delicious food they were serving We started off with the Chicken Karaage, a ramen staple side dish served with garlic mayo. The chicken had a big crunch and was tender and juicy. Great to share between two. Next: Signature Tori Paitan with pork and chicken chatsu and thin noodles. Beautifully presented and great flavour in the pork chatsu. I could talk about the chicken broth for HOURS. It is the definition of silken and smooth, bringing together the many elements of the dish. I tried really hard not to just slurp what was remaining in the bowl. Also, great chew on the noodles. This is definitely a new spot that I can't wait to bring friends to. I have many that dont eat pork so the chicken broth will really help ramen night be an inclusive affair. Looking forward to trying the other flavors
Friendly staff, service is always on point. Been coming here almost every time I’m done work. Such a nice and cozy environment. The ramen is so delicious with such rich and creamy soup broth. The chicken gyoza appetizer is definitely a favorite. Highly recommend!
