First time at this relatively new restaurant. The interior is modern and relatively clean. The service is pretty good for a Chinese restaurant IMO. We opted for their lunch specials which are offered from 11am to 3pm. I ordered L11 Chicken with Ginger Onion on Rice, $7.99 comes with house soup. They say the chicken is free-run chicken. For the price, it is a great deal to get a massive plate of white rice, some vegetables and some protein eating relatively nutritious and on a budget at a restaurant - can't ask for more. The chicken is cooked through, very tender and based on the size, appears to be free-run chicken. A lot of other tables were chowing down on their seafood specials - take a look at the menus!
Recently opened Hong Kong style restaurant in this plaza. Prices are quite competitive and they have a good variety of food in their menu. They also have lobster specials and lunch specials as well. Food comes out quick and the staff here are quite friendly.
I tried this new Chinese restaurant with some friends today. The food is amazing and the price range is very reasonable. We ordered a 4 dish combo which comes with one seafood dish, a chicken dish and your choice of 4 additional dishes soup and steamed rice are included@$79.99. We also added 4 additional dishes @$9.99 per dish. This fed 10 people. Their HK tea is also very rich and smooth. I even bought a 2L jug to go. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. Highly recommended.
Great lobster combo meal! Very reasonable and affordable pricing for lobster. Best Chinese lobster I’ve ever had. Fresh from thr tank. Chicken is also the best in Toronto, which is included in the combo. Overall really good.
Had the $88 4-6 persons combo which comes with 6 dishes that includes steam fish and 2 lobsters. What a treat! Portions are amazing, they did not cheap out on quality, service is great and everyone is satisfied. Fish not pictured
This spot has some great food and great deals! I found them through the swingby app with a 20% off meal for two! They have two types and I tried both! The one that takes the cake is the lobster meal deal that comes with lobster fries, chicken fried rice, spring rolls, sweet & sour pork, and a hot & sour soup! And trust me, the portions were huge! It actually fed a family of us 4! So worth the money! Second one was sichuan boiled fish, fried rice with lobster tomalley, deep fried sesame chicken, fungus with vinegar The lobster in the first meal was cooked hk style and so good! The fries weren’t anything wow, but a nice little add on to the lobster. The sichuan fish in the second meal was my fave! Had the slice, but also the fish was so smooth and silky! Service was awesome! All so super friendly and attending to our needs! I did do takeout for the lobster meal, but the fish meal I had dine in so got to experience both sides! Just as an FYI, they also have a huge bunch of lunch deals too! Definitely a nice little gem in metro square! Great job overall!
My previous review was for takeout. I had the pleasure of a dine-in experience earlier this evening. The food was superb. We had the crab and lobster meal for 6. You won’t be disappointed. Both cooked to perfection Fast, friendly and courteous staff.
Excellent cuisine, lovely setting, and warm service. Having eaten at other Chinese restaurants, I found Happy Fishman's seafood to be quite tasty and authentic. The appetizers were generous in size and delicious, and I enjoy beef brisket and beef fried rice. This location has my recommendation. The only suggestion is that the menu was designed for locals.
Very good restauran. You an reserve a seat in advance. The service was fast and efficient. The pri e was also awesome. Parking was a bit challenging but you can park in the lot net door.
Ordered takeout in Sunday lunch time. They were busy and short staffed. You can feel the chaos inside from ordering to cleaning table. The shop setup is a bit weird. They setup a table in front of the cashier and the table is shielded with plexiglass. You don’t see the cashier when you enter the store but you need to go to cashier to order take out. Aside from these chaos the food was great for a very competitive price. Will come back for more. Hope they can keep up the good work and rethink the shop arrangement.
