The food was quite good and tasty. The seafood tasted fresh and the broths were flavourful. Would have been an easy 4 or 5 star had it not been for the service. One of our friends never got her order of noodles until the end and it came with the wrong toppings. Then, it took us over half an hour to pay as the front desk originally got the orders messed up and had only one machine. I don’t think I’ll return because of this as it made some of my friends late for their appointments after lunch.
I recommend this place. I went here on a Tuesday noon for lunch. We did not have a reservation yet our party of three was promptly seated. The ambiance of the restaurant was very good. We ordered an array: sushi, tempura, rice bowls, noodle bowls, etc. The food was quick to arrive. The food was delicious and flavourful. The staff were polite and attentive. If you're craving for Japanese food, this is a solid choice. I recommend this place.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary, as we saw someone with food from here and we thought it looked good and wanted to try. To begin, the presentation was indeed very beautiful and aesthetic, which is what drew us to this place initially. However, looks can be deceiving. The food was incredibly mediocre, and the price point for everything made it seem even worse than it was because of the high expectations we had. We ordered one sushi roll, one poke bowl, one salmon bowl, and the tempura. The sushi roll was a whopping $18 for 6 pieces and it was some of the most average sushi I’ve ever had. The poke bowl was dull and lacked so much in flavour. I’ve had better poke bowls at millions of other places for cheaper. The salmon bowl was very small, and very sad. The salmon itself was nothing special. The tempura was half batter, which you would not expect from a place that is supposed to be a little bit more refined. The service was not much better either. Absolutely all the tables surrounding ours were dirty with half eaten food still on the table the entire time. As a matter of fact ALL tables were dirty with fruit flies all over the leftovers. They just don’t clean them when it’s close to their 2:30-4 break, even though we came around 1:30 pm, so the atmosphere was just horrible and disappointing. Overall, the food lacks in flavour and depth, it’s not innovative for the price point, the ingredients are nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing stood out. Save your time and money and go somewhere cheaper that will offer tastier food with better service.
I thought all the food there was of good quality. The fried chicken appetizer we had was so tasty and crispy and had a great spicy mayo sauce on the side. All the food looked and tasted pretty good. Our server was very helpful and funny. Overall it was a good experience.
Pretty good! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Gyudon is atypical, they had steaks in there instead of the usual thin beef but still really good. Service is great. The only thing I would say is the rolls are quite expensive, almost double the price of other sushi places. I ordered two rolls and the bill was like 50$
I came here for the first time and will definitely be coming back. I ordered a lot and I loved it all. Fish was fresh and we’re not cheap on it either. Rice to fish ratio was very good. Service was impeccable, food came out fast, server came to check on us, sheTrang was very knowledgeable and recommended the good food. I love uni and it was amazing. I recommend the luxury sashimi bowl
This restaurant has become one of my favorite sushi spots in downtown. The quality is excellent with a huge variety of dishes to chose from. I was really impressed by everything we got. We were a group of 7 and service was really attentive on our end. We’ll definitely be back !
I went there for my sister's birthday. The presentation of food was beautiful and it was delicious specially the Nori Barachirashi. We got our food quite fast we went there on a Tuesday night. The vibe was pleasant. It was a bit pricey, but I would come back to try other stuff on the menu!
Friendly service and beautiful presentation. The seating have good privacy. The portions are large so you'll definitely be full after one bowl of noodles. Chairs could be a bit more comfy, otherwise a very nice experience.
The food was really good. Some of the best sushi I had. It gets really busy, make sure you have a reservation just in case. Our seating area was a little cold because it was beside the door but other than that, the sushi is incredible.
