Traditional Canadian food - burgers, fries, soups, sandwiches. Family run restaurant. Friendly service. Lot of place for groups. Good for bar visit and also for families with children. Multiple separate rooms. Family dinning room, lounge with bar, outside patio with heaters, pool room and gambling machines. Food is not health choice but juicy burgers with bacon etc.

Had the "real burger" and it was really quite good. Loved our waitress, she was super friendly and pretty funny. I think her name was Gussy.

Was good food. Service was slow. And the water was not the best but overall environment made up for it. Very pleased with the food. Good portions. Good price.

I'm dropping my review from previous 4 to a 2. Yes we came on Canada Day. Yes we heard them say it was the busiest day of year. I'm fine with the time we waited for a table and the length of time we spent in the place. That is understandable. The waitress took our orders, ten minutes later came back to ask us all again what we wanted and said she just wanted to be sure. She didn't confirm my 3 year old nephews order so I asked about it and she said "of course". She came back again another ten minutes later and still asked more questions about our order (as in "you wanted the fish and chips right?). We finally got our order, except the 3 year old, which she forgot to order even though we had confirmed it with her. They said they would rush the meal and when it was finally brought out he had already finished eating his parents meal and only picked at the meal. We were there for at least an hour before his food arrived. She apologized profusely, and when we suggested maybe she take notes she responded " I don't take notes". We were given a dirty glass with ice in it and when we mentioned it she argued about whether it was clean or not. The lemonade tasted like lemon concentrate with water and when that was mentioned they unhappily said they'd take one of the lemonades off the bill. Hindsight there's a good chance the lemonade cartridge needed changed. As far as food quality goes I wasn't impressed with the simulated bacon bits on the ceasar salad, a bag salad mix you get from the grocery store is higher quality than that.

A family friendly place for some good food. My children felt comfortable here and easily found menu items that they enjoyed. The service was good and meals were priced reasonably.
