Yates Memorial Services

We recently buried our beloved mother due to a sudden and unexpected heart attack. Yates had previously handled our fathers funeral a few years ago and under the new management especially, we were very impressed with the service and understanding we got from Yates with anything along the way dealt with immediately. We were especially impressed with Jill who, although they are all very good, is the best director they have to offer. She is especially decisive, detailed orientated and is obviously a compassionate soul who aims to give you the funeral you are looking for with all the details taken care of! We have purchased all of our family plots at Yates! No hesitation in recommending them!

Barry and the staff at Yates went above and beyond to help us through the untimely passing of our mother. His professionalism in our time of complete uncertainty helped us to work through the grieving process and made us feel at ease knowing Mom was treated with the utmost compassion and dignity by Yates. We Thank each and every staff member at Yates for helping us deal with our loss.

With the recent passing of my mother, I think it needs mentioning how well everything was looked after at Yates Funeral services. Each individual person at Yates whom we dealt with, helped in some way to put our minds at ease...as they carried out their various duties. Phone calls & emails were promptly returned and they helped with documentation & forms that I hadn't a clue how to deal with. We were given flexibility on choices & costs at every level and I appreciated not feeling pressured. The level of understanding & efficiency this group displayed was quite simply...refreshing. As a final note I'll thank Yates for the level of tidiness they maintain...both in the facility and throughout the grounds. I know my Mother will be OK here. ....thank you...

I had three occasions to call upon Yates in the past year, and each time they came with such compassion and professionalism. It was so comforting and reassuring to us in our grief and we were guided through the office work with ease. I appreciate the care that all the staff gave us each time we needed them.

No rating. Absolute rip off! My friend was dying of cancer and approached Yates to complete her cremation. She reviewed the "brochure" and decided on Yates. After her cremation, I was surprised at all the "extras" that were not explained to her. The brochure is purposely misleading and her cremation was an extra $1500.00. I would not recommend Yates to anyone.

Yates Memorial Services is an incredible family owned and operated business. Their staff are so helpful and caring and really go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. I highly recommend Yates as they are so professional!

We recently said goodbye to our mother, grandmother, & great grandmother. On Feb 18th., I was informed that my mother would be cremated Feb 24th. Family was en route to view my mother & pay their last respects. My daughter-in-law & I attended Yates Memorial mid-day Feb 19th., to pick up my mother's death certificates, & asked at that time if we could arrange a viewing Saturday morning Feb.22nd. The director informed us that she had just been cremated, & used the word,  "expedite". This is far from being compassionate & consoling when addressing a family at their time of loss. Apologies were made at the time we picked up her ashes. I do have to say, preparation of documents & processing of forms was executed in a timely manner. Overall, the staff were professional, efficient & understanding.

I want to extend my gratitude on behalf of our family to Jill, Bradd and Barry for there professionalism and compassion through such a difficult time. I am so glad you were able to accommodate my mother’s service and I felt everything was taken care of without us having to stress about arrangements when we were trying to process and work through our grief. Jill you especially went above and beyond the day of the service. Thank you!

The staff were friendly, attentive and showed genuine compassion/professionalism. The cemetery is beautiful and well maintained with significant attention to detail.
