We recently buried our beloved mother due to a sudden and unexpected heart attack.nYates had previously handled our fathers funeral a few years ago and under the new management especially, we were very impressed with the service and understanding we got from Yates with anything along the way dealt with immediately.nWe were especially impressed with Jill who, although they are all very good, is the best director they have to offer. She is especially decisive, detailed orientated and is obviously a compassionate soul who aims to give you the funeral you are looking for with all the details taken care of!nWe have purchased all of our family plots at Yates! No hesitation in recommending them!
I would not recommend going to Yates funeral home. They were very good and professional at first, until they brought my grandmothers ashes out, we paid $100 for a cardboard earn that she was not in, they put my loving grandmother in a clear plastic bag with holes in it she was leaking all over the grass while spreading her ashes and they still tried to charge us $100 for something we didn't get very disrespectful and very unprofessional especially for my grandmother she didn't deserve this at all. My family were very heartbroken.
WEll not sure where to begin . We as my two sisters and me were shown into a meet room . Andrea Angela and Dean .Then representative Abigail Kaufmann After going threw all the option ok . It came time for my Older sister Andrea Frederiksen to sign the contract for taking care of our mother's body and cremation . Not once but Twice Abigail spelled my older sisters name wrong in the contract or legal document . While having Andrea's diver's license in her possession ok . we ended up waiting each time 30 mintes for Abibail to come back with the correct spelling of Andrea Frederiksen ok . It was very un-professional ok . WE were not offered a bottle of water or coffee like were were from before when you took care of my dad ok . Arthur Eugene Riemer . My mother Name is Geraldine Virgina Riemer is in your care now . very unpleasant experience this time around ok
Barry and the staff at Yates went above and beyond to help us through the untimely passing of our mother. His professionalism in our time of complete uncertainty helped us to work through the grieving process and made us feel at ease knowing Mom was treated with the utmost compassion and dignity by Yates. We Thank each and every staff member at Yates for helping us deal with our loss.
With the recent passing of my mother, I think it needs mentioning how well everything was looked after at Yates Funeral services.nEach individual person at Yates whom we dealt with, helped in some way to put our minds at ease...as they carried out their various duties.nPhone calls & emails were promptly returned and they helped with documentation & forms that I hadn't a clue how to deal with.nWe were given flexibility on choices & costs at every level and I appreciated not feeling pressured.nThe level of understanding & efficiency this group displayed was quite simply...refreshing.nAs a final note I'll thank Yates for the level of tidiness they maintain...both in the facility and throughout the grounds.nI know my Mother will be OK here.n....thank you...
