Very good personalized service. We were provided all the accommodation we needed in terms of scheduling and time spent with my son. Janice and Janet were very thoughtful and felt like family with the utmost care they provided to our son. They are also very professional yet able to feel and understand our grief. In terms of facilities: There is ample parking. It is up to date and very nice. Our service was done during this challenging COVID time and they had all the precautions, sanitizers everywhere, wipes, temp check, distancing.

Troy and Janice were very kind and supportive during the hardest time of my life. They continue to be so kind and thoughtful after 2 months after my husbands passing.

Sands provides their reception room free of charge for local community groups to hold small events or trainings. We held the last day of our hospice volunteer training there recently. They were gracious and caring hosts, and we are grateful for their support.

My team hosted a two day training and were able to access The Sands as our venue. All of the staff were incredibly accommodating and approachable. The space was well kept and a really warm place to hold our training. I needed some support with technology and printing and they helped me right away. Our experience was perfect, The Sands was a great place to have our training and I would recommend to anyone in the area. The kind, compassionate care of all the staff was amazing, they are incredible at the delicate job that they do. Thank you!

I recently moved, and they helped me replace my pendant with my dads finger print. My dad has been gone four years now. Thank you guys again for being so wonderful in helping me get something so precious back. I'm so grateful. I've got an amazing story to share to people close to me now.

Dad passed away in Duncan and his wish was to be buried in Kamloops. Sands took care of all the paperwork, guided us step by step through this unknown process, placing the obituary in multiple medias, notifying the officials, arranging viewings at two locations, answering our calls no matter the time of day and transporting Dad back to Kamloops. At location Troy made contact with the church and the cemetery prior to our arrival. He knew where we were going and the time frame involved in Kamloops not Duncan none the less.
