Fantastic little gem of a bakery in Mount Pleasant. We stumbled across it on a walk through Mount Pleasant to Queen Elizabeth park. It was a hot day and we desperately needed a refreshing cup of tea. We met Farhan behind the counter and he was really nice. They didn't have tea on their menu but he offered to make us 2 cups of sweet tea along with a selection of baklava. The bakery has a huge selection of delicious baked goods and some hot food options. Would definitely recommend stopping by here and if we lived in Vancouver, we would definitely go back!
Stopped in here with my boyfriend while we waited for our reso time down the street and the scent that hits you when you walk through the front door is to die for !! The type of smell that just tells you how much love and care is put into everything they make. We decided to get one item to try because we were about to eat dinner and the kindest lady behind the counter gave us 3 items on the house instead! It was definitely the best baklava I’ve ever had and vegan and the pistachio cookie was also very good. We planned to go back the next day and unfortunately that didn’t work out but the next time we are back in the city I can genuinely say this will be one of our first stops! To the kind lady behind the counter thank you so much and we hope to see you again soon!
A down to earth local gem of a bakery! I had their manaeesh and spinach pie triangles and it was so tasty and fresh! All the food is handmade and the prices are beyond reasonable for it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area for snacks and dessert bites! :
I went for the first time, and you can’t resist the smell of the bakery! I got big size cheese fatayer, they made it fresh in front of me and it is well baked. The cheese is melted and you enjoy the warm delicious bite you’ll have. I also got 6 pieces spinach pies, and were tasty as well. Of course I didn’t forget the cookies! It has nice texture and super soft that melt in your mouth. You don’t feel heavy eating them not crazy sweet which is exactly how I like it. Overall great store with delicious food. I admire the fact they offer frozen pies/fatayer and some mediterranean food as well. Definitely recommend it.
A local little bakery with a happy and friendly staff serving one of the best baklavas, pies and other goodies baked to perfection. My personal favorite are the almond biscuits- party in every bite! A must visit.
Got the samosas. It didn't have a lot of filling and was rock hard and tasted like it was refried, reheated, or days old. Half way through the samosas, the meat tasted rotten and bitter so I had to spit it out. I tasted a lot of samosas and had to say this was the worse, and I was starving too which usually lowers my food standards. Surprise to see the high ratings. Either it was just a bad batch of samosas or they are having a bad day. Can't say anything about the other bakery items. Maybe they are better?
I’m so happy I stumbled upon this place! The assorted baklava was so delicious, as was the hummus and manouche. I will be back!
A hidden gem for sure! I've been coming back ever since I first had my lunch here, trying all sorts of delicious savoury pies and food, and freshly baked treats. Go for it!
Recently opened Halal Lebanese bakery in Vancouver They have some amazing and delicious baked goods and deli eats Highly recommended
Probably the best Lebanese bakery in Vancouver. Coming from Ottawa, where Lebanese bakeries are around every corner, it was tough to find a good one on the west coast. I’m really happy I stumbled across this bakery; I was shocked by how fresh everything was. This is my go-to Lebanese bakery from now on.
