This review is an FYI related to the bakery's participation in the "To Good To Go" app. Although the app lists "bread & pastries" as items you could get like at their retail stores, I've only ever received a variety of breads all excellent. Great value if your wanting lots of bread!
Hard to find address. Old little building in middle of block. Surprise bag was disappointing since they advertise as a pastry/bakery & only got 2 large cookies 1 scone then 4 loafs of bread. Can get at any big box grocery store. Expected more pastry. Nice guys. Probably wont buy again.
Christmas time. I grew up in England. Always searching for that elusive feeling that Christmas brings. Put on the Chieftains Bells of Dublin no paradox here, mostly English music anyway and let the emotion wash over me. Bite into a Pane E Formaggio mince tart and wonder of wonders-just like those I loved as a kid. Five Star mince tarts!
Best fruit and nut scones EVER. They used to supply my coffee shop. Now I drive from Alberta to pick up a dozen or two... ...great flavour. Not super sweet. The owner is awesome to work with and has gone out of his way to support me. THANK YOU
Tried the Sourdough Ciabatta Baguette and immediately fell in love with it. Delicious and the closest think the real "Italian Panetteria" bread. To make sure I always have some on hand, I buy 6 loaves, freeze and reheat any time the craving hits me. TRY IT.
What kind of bakery doesnt sell to the public?!? The kind that sells it semi-fresh elsewhere.
Sourdough Twisted Hoagies - are delicious ciabattas, and Apple Crostatas are loaded with apples - love it!
Super nice staff and great location, wanted to like it so badly but found the apple crostata to be quite stale-tasting. :
i just buy their ciabatta bread at Green's market and its some of the best ciabatta bread ive ever had
