Superb!! Everything that we ordered were perfectly prepared, seasoned, cooked and made!! Salmon was so fresh and fatty juicy! Great ingredients! And they used fresh oil to cook. Sushi rice was perfectly prepared and cooked! Definitely will come back to try out other dishes!
I can't describe how amazing this place is from staff to food and atmosphere. It is so authentic and cozy. I am giving 4 stars for the price, it is above average. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, fish ball skewers, loose leave tea and rice ball crispy triangles and they were all amazing. I wanted to try everything badly but I have self control . It is a nice place to have a date or meet a friend
The best place for Japanese food I have found in Calgary. Ambient: cozy, familiar, friendly. Makes me want to stay and talk with staff and owners. Food: fresh, done in the moment, simply delicious. And they do have items I haven't found anywhere else. Price: fair. Given the quality and location it's totally worth it. Staff: friendly and always with a smile. Totally recommend this place. Either alone or has a small group or couple.
Amazing quality food we ordered sushi and some starters. Super friendly staff, we felt so welcome and at home and the atmosphere is so cute and interesting. I’ll definitely be making a trip across Calgary to eat here again. I think I found my new sushi spot :
Some reviews said I should make reservation which I did an I am glad because it got to be busy very fast. It's a really small place but probably that's the best part of it. There wasn't loud music so I actually was able to have a normal conversation! The food was absolutely amazing hands down one of the best sushi places in the city. Everything was fresh and flavourful also filling.The presentation was so sophisticated. I'm really glad I got the chance to try this place out and we're definitely coming back!
Must try japanese cuisine place in Calgary. Looks and feels like I was in Japan for a while. And the food was first class. Fresh fish and staff were awesome. We were there at lunch time and it was at 80% capacity. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who want a Japanese food.
Fish and chips was very good. They have a lightly breaded fish, salmon, and a scallop 2 on a skewer with fries and Japanese mayo on the side. Ordered the vegetable pancake which was also crispy and not heavy on the batter. Volcano roll and rainbow roll were also very good.
One of the best places around here. There’s not much to do around this area but this place is definitely worth it. Would definitely go again. Their sashimi is so fresh and delicious and their rice is perfectly cooked. If this was downtown it’d definitely be packed all day. Their tapioca is slightly over cooked but still great. The strawberry drink was incredible and the matcha is just perfect. The octopus stick was sooooo good. Bento box was good but wouldn’t order again. The price is slightly much but it’s honestly worth it.
Food was tasty and prepped beautifully. If I’m in a pinch and want sushi in the Deep South of Calgary this would be the place to visit. The bento box had variety of flavours. The poke was alright. A little too heavy on the sauce. Other than that, a decent place to check out for Japanese food.
The fish and chips were amazing! The sushi was acceptable, the sashimi was fresh enough but I wouldn’t say it’s a go-to sushi spot. The drinks were good, and the matcha tiramisu was light and fluffy!
