The team here is completely incompetent. They do not train their new staff and their current staff would truthfully not give you the time of day whether you are a patient or a visitor. The staff here is completely useless you would be better off taking care of your loved one in your own home than this place.
Pros and cons about this placennPros- the residents are the best part in the job!nI only come to work to see them.nI try to keep positive even though I am getting bullied. Nice interior, the place is very clean!nEverything is good, except certain RN and PSWnGiving me a hard time.nnCons- the staff are bullies, never spend time with the residents, they just give care and move on to the next resident, they hardly ever encourage the residents to do recreation,nI actually got into trouble for being nice and caring for the seniors!nBy my preceptor and another psw, they have put to many workloads on me.nTalk about the residents to others.nMake fun of me because I care, I have been like that all my life.nNot giving perineal care to certain residents that are difficult.nI accept to much work, only because I like to be busy.nWhile other PSW are on their phones.nOrdering me around.nI always go above and beyond my student placement. To me it feels good that you made a resident laugh etc.....
The receptionist working at the front desk is really rude. Her name is Mary or Maria. We had a two-day orientation at the facility, she was extremely unwelcoming . We were a group of 18, and everyone had at least one unpleasant experience with her. I'm not sure how someone like her with such attitude could work in a long-term care facilities where a lot patience is required.
My father got healthier since moving to Woodhall last summer. His weight is great now. Excellent place much better than home care. Great nurses and responsive to family and residents needs. Recommend.
This is a great place with great staff.nMy sister has been here for almost 1.5 yrs.. and she likes it very much.. the staff are very accommodating. The home is very clean and well kept.. the food is Also very good.. the location is wonderful and accessible to highways..
