Wok This Way Restaurant

This restaurant easily has the best won ton soup in the city.nI took a bite and it reminded me of the restaurant my family would to do as a child and brought back some nice memories.nnThe food was great. The service was nice. The waitress was super accommodating and kind about my little boy's random requests for the hockey game to be on .nnWe live in the north side of the city but we will make the drive when we want Chinese or awe visiting the in-laws

Terrible service, poor food quality, trash restaurant. This is the worst place I have ever been to. The food was warm and wasn’t hot and takes so long for food to come. I don’t know why they have to use hot water to wash the plates again before bringing it to me. Maybe because it’s not clean so they need to clean it again? I don’t know this place is a circus show no management, no service, rude staff, and poor table placement. The tables are sticky and smelly. This place is terrible and I am never coming back.nnEdit: The owner is talking back like they are so right. No one uses hot water to heat up plates everyone uses a machine to keep plates hot. I never said they were loud I just said they were rude. You also mentioned that it was winter so you do it. I’ve been there once last year in the summer time and you guys did the same thing. Training? You need to train the same staff for 1 year? This isn’t the military no need to train for so long. The plates that came out had a chemical smell. So clearly it’s your washing machine that has a problem. You need to stop making excuses and right the wrong. You wanted to provide better service? How about you spend less time on useless stuff such as heating plates with hot water and spend more time providing better service. All the stuff you said is just excuses that is not how you run a proper restaurant you ever heard of the saying “the customer is always right”. I’ll explain what it means since you don’t seem to know it means when a customer gives a review or feedback it means accepting it and listening to it and make changes necessary not wasting time arguing about it acting as if you are all right and did nothing wrong. I hope this place shuts down soon such a poor establishment.

My mom and I just had a fantastic meal here. The food was sooo flavourful, good portions and very reasonably priced. Also, they were very accommodating to allergies/dislike alterations. You don’t find that often. The lady that serviced was so nice and gave us terrific service! Definitely going more often!

By far the best Chinese food we’ve had since moving from Toronto to Edmonton! This place came highly recommended by neighbors and coworkers, so we decided to give it a try, and it was excellent! We were surprised given that it was NYE, we anticipated it to be a little busier than normal, but when we placed our order, they offered us a time slot, and when we arrived our order was ready right away! We will definitely be ordering again!

Over the years I have eaten here and more often had takeaway. It used to be pretty good but the last couple of times it has been disappointing.. Tonight 2 of the 3 dishes that I ordered were totally tasteless. The peach shrimp was ok, but the shrimp are smaller than in the past and there were only a few slices of very pale peach. I’m wondering if they have changed ownership. I won’t be going back.
