Daawat Authentic Indian Restaurant

The food for the buffet is delicious! I'd recommend this place to everyone who enjoys east Indian cuisine. The staff are amazing and the food is always on point. Never left dissatisfied, always left belly bursting.

Their lunchtime buffet is good, and the naan bread is excellent. Try the coconut naan bread - it's to die for! The only thing I don't like is that the dinner menu is a lot more expensive, but they have the same items available as the lunch menu.

This restaurant is on a very convince location right off Gateway Boulevard on White Avenue. The restaurant itself has ha very contemporary design and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant itself is not that big, with tables and booths mainly designed for 2-4 tables. However, there are a couple of tables at the front that can accommodate If say up to 8 people. I javnt eaten here, so cant really comment on the food. I have heard good things about this place though, and a couple of my sister's have eaten here and said the food was good. The staff seem to be very helpful and important with what they are doing. I am a courier, and my phone died on the job. I didn't have a backup charger, so had to ask them for help. They gave me a charger, and were incredibly helpful in helping me contact my employer, aswell as letting me use the phone to phone the customer. Their friendly support and help were an great show of helping your fellow man, and one of the workers who was on break even habe me support and encouragement in this difficult situation. It was only my third shift on the job, and they really helped save my bacon on that order. I know it's supposed to be a good review, but I have to give them a shout out from my experience working for them. Honestly though, I am not a Indian cuisine guy, but it smelt good in there, and the people in there seemed to be enjoying their dining experience. I would definitely check it out.

This place is excellent Indian food. The buffet is always fresh and the staff are wonderful people. Conveniently located in bus routes along whyte Avenue.

Went to the lunch buffet. Wasn't busy at all which made me skeptic, but all the food was good, service was good, and the price is definitely affordable. Will come again in the future
