Story

The Francis Winspear Centre for Music is the home of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and hosts a wide array of concerts and events.

Mission

Although Winspear is a centre for music, the building hosts weddings, rock concerts, graduation ceremonies, lectures, corporate events, yoga classes, Christmas parties – even So You Think You Can Dance Canada auditions! The Winspear holds over 250 events a year utilizing all 8 of its event spaces and allowing Edmontonians to experience a versatile and evolving venue for music, dance, and events – the possibilities are ever expanding.

Season ticket holder for symphony season plus attend many one-off events. Site lines are good from all seats but more important is the excellent acoustics. No straining to hear the full range of sound.
Suxs there no heavy metal be play here at this covid times
Excellent venue for all concerts available to see. Try to catch as many as possible as no other spot I have been compares. Usually pricing is reasonable as well. It is a smaller seating area only holding 1716, but this adds to the intimacy giving a real close up feel. Hoping for many more opportunities in the future.
I always enjoy the shows here, the last one was very good for families with kids!! Very good music and performance and the prices are always affordable for a family!! Will keep taking my kids here if they have more shoes like the last one!!!
Love the atmosphere and the music is beautiful. It's always a great time. Music of Star Wars is our favourite concert.
I have been there for a concert of famous Ukrainian band Dakha Brakha and was stunned. The sound was amazing! This is a must visit place for music lovers.
My friend and I have season tickets to Robbins Pops. I have never had an experience where I left feeling less than totally exhilarated. The Edmonton Symphony orchestra playing in this fabulous venue is just plain magic.
