Story

The Starlite Room is a live entertainment venue founded in 2004 and follows the rich musical history begun by previous incarnations such as the Bronx, the Rev and Lush. The Starlite Room is a private venue which operates for it's members and their guests and is open to all genres and walks of life.

The building which houses the Starlite Room was designed by Herbert Magoon and George Heath MacDonald, two of Edmonton's most prolific architects and was constructed in 1925 by the Salvation Army.

Such an amazing venue, and was so privileged to see another live show here. Amazing staff, multiple bars and clean bathroom. Only negative was the sloped floor. I was told its to prevent people from getting crush at the front during moshing. Not worth removing A star.
Hands down one of the premier venues for smaller concerts, was there last night Oct. 14.2022 to watch IVardenspehere and Front 242, it was very good organized and great sound and very good visuals the Band projected onto the big screen on stage
Best small concert venue in my opinion. The staff are so friendly and fast. Very organized system for entry and reentry. They don't push alcohol sales and allow you to bring cannabis in with you. Obviously you still smoke outside but they don't have a disgusting smoking pit so you can leave and smoke outside. They host local bands all the time and it's just an awesome place!
This venue is amazing…. I went to see The Blue Stones here last night. As a single woman I travel for live music a lot posting from my husbands account, from the truly awesome staff so helpful and accommodating to the brilliant sound system and patrons, I would come back here anytime. I couldn’t have enjoyed my night any more!
This review is directed at the 2022 New Year's Eve event with a Circus theme. While the circus acts were mostly amateur, they were entertaining and in line with the theme. The biggest disappointment, though, was with the music. The DJ was absolutely terrible...really, really terrible. She couldn't choose decent music, beat match, mix or read a room at all. When our group arrived at 10:00 pm everyone on the dance floor was just standing there, no movement. Every once in a while there would be a beat and tempo that got the crowd moving for a minute or two and there was a glimmer of hope that perhaps the room would fill with some energy, and then the tempo would change mid-song and completely kill the vibe. Midnight hit and half the crowd was gone by 12:30. All in all, it was an incredibly disappointing New Year's Eve.
Great live music venue, check their website for many amazing talented bands that perform here. Great staff, service and sound. The stage is nice and high so everyone can see the band, not just the backs of people's heads.

Went on new year's Eve for the circus themed event. It was a good night out, not bad alcohol selection, plus fresh cotton candy. The entertainment was very good, could have flowed a bit quicker, felt bad for the acts they put out at 1am, a lot of people had left already unfortunately.
Awesome room. Friendly staff, cheap drinks and a great setting for live music. If you haven't been here and seen a band you're missing out.
Fantastic venue for watching bands. The staff is amazing too! They even have non-alcoholic beer for people like me.
