This park is right off Hwy 101 and is easy to find. Unfortunately, you can hear the trucks on the highway from the campground. This park is not on the ocean; it is on a small lake. There is a very small swimming beach and a nice modern playground in the day use area a moderate walk from the campground. There are lots of trees and shade. All sites have power and water which is a nice plus for tent campers. Free, hot showers and flush toilets. Sites are level and have limited privacy. We did not see any programs for children. There are some hiking trails but no signs with distance or difficulty or maps were available. The gate house was staffed and the park was well maintained.

The rangers here really are the greatest. It's a wonderful campground. The hosts are all very nice as well. There is a little bit if road construction on 101 right know, but that's not their fault.

The memorial Park is well situated right off the highway and kept up. The stones and memorials are beautifully set, it gives gratitude for those who served. I highly recommend pulling into the park for the view and most importantly your respect.

Day use park with playground, gazebo, public and clean bathrooms. Water for fishing, 10 mph for water craft. Baby geese are abundant now.
