At first I was a little worried based off of being seated on the second floor area. The main floor only had a few of the tables occupied and to our surprise we were seated up stairs at the only table left that was open. It's a smaller area/box room with maybe 8 tables. Not as appealing as the main floor. That being said, we understand after eating why it is worth it. The food was good, best we have had for some time. I wish they had more of a meatless selection or diversity of the menu, for our valentines dinner, I ate a bean burger. No big deal, just not a real classy meal. I make do and don't expect people to cater to the fact I just don't like meat... But again, the food was good.

Food is always amazing and that's why we go. Service can be slow but it's minor stuff, like waiting for your tea glass to be filled, etc. This time both my tea glass and my water glass had a rough texture. I thought, nice, hand made but no, you could rub the texture off with a damp cloth. I appreciate the local, environmental friendliness of the menu. More attention to clean would also be appreciated! That's the only reason for the 1 star mark down.

Arguably the best restaurant in Spokane. This place definitely deserves Michelin ratings. The interior is classy and the ambiance is welcoming and romantic. The food was exquisite and the presentation emulated it. It is somewhat pricey but worth every dollar. Overall, if you’re in Spokane this is the one place you must visit.

Service was awesome, but the food was disappointing. There were three of us and every appetizer, salad, and entree was too sweet. Butter with the popovers was sweet. Roasted veggies were sweet. Salad had a waffle syrup as dressing. Side salads with the calf liver and th trout were too sweet. We really wanted to like our meal, but it was a situation where we didn’t even want to finish what was on our plates. New chef? New sous chef? We are not interested in coming back, not for awhile at least.

I absolutely love this place. Wish I was able to visit more often. Must say though, this was the first year I was not thrilled with my resturaunt week experience. Can't put my finger on it but just a bit off. I still recommend it to everyone I know! The additional seating has made it much more comfortable.
